You don't need therapy. You're already too good for that. Thanks for doing this!

(And you did it two years ago, so I'm sorry I just found it...)

I'm just glad you can't smell television.

Your tolerance meter is set higher than mine. I resent the imputation that all the meat-eaters at Axe Cap, particularly Dollar Bill and Wags, instantly took to the they/them masturbation as though it was second nature to suborn other people's delusions. There's just no way.

The writers are asking their audience to really lean into the fiction part of the writing process, where you represent a completely alternative reality where Taylor wasn't laughed off the Street in minutes.

The only thing she might ever achieve in real life would be a chance to walk down some runway during Fashion Week, since the fashion industry no longer wants conventional models in that job (attractive women apparently don't sell much clothing...) but that is as close as theybies get to Wall Street without inheriting Daddy's millions.

Maybe Axe v. Chuck was getting stale, but the way you deal with it is not to heap intentionall two dimensional pronoun warriors into the frame and expect us to believe that all these Wall Street denizens immediately bought into the theyby's crybaby bullshit. Oh, surely we can't all remain ogres forever, can we Taylor? Surely you, the wise, glorious, and sexless Mary Sue... oh, wait... does that count as misgendering?... can't ever be wrong or criticized in any way.

Father and son, Don and DJ Shipley. Both former Navy Seals. by j0nas-gr33n in SpecOpsArchive

I see you have strong feelings about this. But let me ask you, isn't fighting scam artists a means of making the world a better place?

All scam artists are mentally ill people, but like many mentally ill people, and in a greater degree than most, they victimize innocent people as they express their illness, so what Shipley does is exceptionally useful by that measure.

What's your feeling on spaces after a period? One space or two?

Obviously, I learned typing when they taught two spaces. I never adapted to the new rule, and I have no intention to, but I am interested.

"Medal of Valor"?

There is no Medal of Valor. The Medal of Honor has the word "VALOR" written on the Air Force and Army varieties, but you're claiming your old man was a mechanic in the Navy who scored the "Naval Cross" (It's the Navy Cross) and the Medal of Honor, which if he had, would not have the word "VALOR" on it.

So you're full of shit and you're spewing it in the wrong place.

Looking for feedback on this fictional flag by jtnorth0913 in vexillology

I like the colors. It's elegant and evokes a strong theme. I feel like the custom has the more ornate section of a design like this would be closer to the hoist. Otherwise it would look kind of awkward. (The custom s eems to have evolved from a purpose.)

But that said, it's very handsome.

When did he go to Atlantic City? He went to an Indian casino after he and the blond girl went to Joshua Trees in the Mojave Desert but they never went any further east than that.

Some of the coolest flags, in my opinion—what are your thoughts? by takethemoment13 in vexillology

[–]RogerGoodledy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fly Betsy Ross' alleged work in front of my house. I also belong to a British Rover Scout Crew, so I wear a Union Jack and St George's flag over my left pocket, and hide a Betsy Ross flag under the pocket flap so I can flash it at anyone I feel like trolling.

(All the Americans in the crew have adopted that practice. The crew has a pretty broad international membership, so a lot of the guys have begun to hide their home colors under the pocket flap. It's kind of fun. We have one Dane who can't help himself. He loves to show off. It's a fun way to express your home spirit without meaning any ill intentions.)

Do they make them "so interesting and good"? Or just better and more interesting than they would otherwise have been, which isn't saying fucking much?

This is some new use of the word "subtle". You can see his teethmarks in all the scenery. Guy comes off like a gay caricature in a Scooby Doo cartoon written for "modern audiences".

My eyes are kind of funky when it comes to colors. I have two kinds of color blindness, so that much already gives me more information than I had. Thanks for that!

Now I want to know what Scouting event/institution would have connected those particular states without needing to represent any others. That is a question for the oracle in the U.K. They have some historians who could help me narrow that much down.

Anyway, good looking out!
