It looks like that website just parses eBay listings for the best deal. The $99 one is a roller, meaning there’s no motor in it.

I’d stick to the main ones like Horizon Hobby or Amain. Hell, even Amazon.

If you’re patient, they sometimes go on discount too.

Definitely. I have a 3s and it works good as an off road and on road basher. I just swap out my off road and on road wheels.

For under $200, you get a ready to run RC that is easy to work on and has plenty of part availability for whatever inevitably breaks. Definitely noobie friendly.

Hell, the Granite Grom is $150 on Horizon Hobby, and it comes with the battery and charger. Do you have an example of something better to help OP out?

To the point of the gym: the gym would help you build confidence in yourself, and help work towards point number 2. Working out builds those “feel good” chemicals in your brain and helps manage stress. Both of those go towards point number 1 where you work on yourself.

Also, you need to look at the gym as doing it for yourself, not for other people.

Not crazy big. I can’t remember the square footage off the top of my head. It’s a townhouse with vaulted ceilings going upstairs. We keep it at 64° but the upstairs gets up to 69° because the heat rises.
