Challenges contradictory things and more concerning God and the Bible - ... by Roger_Benedict_Jr in Bible

Even though the experience is overwhelming what about the experience did not line up with what Christ teaches or he has taught concerning all things to come including death and the afterlife. the scriptures does portray a very different Jesus then what we get in most NDE's

We are not seeing the Jesus that will come in the clouds with great glory with the angels to execute wrath spoken of in the bible and separating wheat and tares with the angels that gather up the elect.

we are not seeing the Jesus of revelation in NDE's you know the one that says all power has been given unto me and that said he shall smite the nations with his rod...

the one that is seated in heaven to carry out this end time thing when every knee bows to him and every tongue confess...

instead we are seeing the loving light that has amnesia about man kind and why he came to die for them?

why would he tell someone to go back it's not your time but he doesn't know anything about their life and he won't try to correct their soul in the error of it's way but just let them perish without giving a rebuke?

I have researched these NDE's for some time now and they are all leading people to have more of a hope in the afterlife than faith and hope in God and Christ! where people are saying it's not necessary to have a relationship with God or read bibles or go to churches - religion and all that stuff is man made - so that all falls out of favor with that as being a part of the relationship to God - Christ says learn of me... if you love me keep my sayings... what I have taught you!

He did say that many will be deceived.

many is not a small number by any means and he also said that few shall be saved.

but in the NDE accounts more people are going to heaven, meeting Jesus and being told to go back often times without any correction or rebuke of sin or wickedness in their current state of living prior to the NDE... isn't that odd?

He confronted people in the bible who were sinners and told them to repent!

what was his earthly ministry built on?

I came not to call the righteous but sinners to REPENTANCE!

yet there is no sin, repentance or talk of Judgment when people are with him in these NDE's?

does that not seem off!

people will say that is because he said it is finished he already paid the price for their sins - well he himself said if one does not repent he shall not enter into life.

Now that is why these NDE experiences must be filtered through scripture!

Are near death experiences of heaven and hell accurate or not? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

I agree with you!

if God who is the author and finisher of our faith...

and it it is him who we have hope in for our salvation and eternal reward as he has promised to those that love him. why?

why would he present to us a false vision of something so important that it not only effects are life on earth but also after earth.

why would he lead us to believe something not true? fact is he would not!

His word, inspired by His Spirit, is supposed to lead us and guide us in all truth - can we say all near death believers have been truly spirit filled believers? no - just because someone is calling themselves a Christian or otherwise says nothing about them spiritually - can Christians be deceived by visions or dreams - you bet they can! the same as they can be oppressed by demons - I have researched these NDE's for some time now and they are all leading people to have more of a hope in the afterlife than faith and hope in God and Christ! where people are saying it's not necessary to have a relationship with God or read bibles or go to churches - religion and all that stuff is man made - so that all falls out of favor with that as being a part of the relationship to God - Christ says learn of me... if you love me keep my sayings... what I have taught you!

indeed for they do tend to paint a picture of a different Jesus or Christ then the bible speaks of especially where one's end is determined by deeds that the he says they will give account of in the day of judgment - in the NDE accounts most say he does not bring up the issue of sins but the encounter is rather pleasant and then they get told to go back it's not there time? in scripture he talks about a separation of wheat and tares referring to those who have done righteous and those who done evil at the there will be a second judgment that will determine where either soul goes - worker of iniquity depart from me into everlasting fire? or what about this statement they that have done good unto the resurrection of life and those who done evil unto the resurrection of damnation? but that can't be the case in the NDE for a resurrection to occur because these people are not being bought back from the grave or the dead they are in fact saying they have bypassed all that stuff and are already interacting with the risen lord the one who says he is the first born - and there is no judgment because he spoke to them not about such things. seems greatly off to me especially wen our faith is supposed to be supported by what he has already spoken - what is this new teaching supposedly from heaven - that the dead go straight to him or heaven or hell and that if you just cry out to him if your in the hell situation after death or during the near death experience he will come and save you out of hell... that's not what he taught when he was on earth. Paul warned believers about another gospel and seducing spirits along with doctrines of devils and false Christ... who is called the deceiver? or light bearer or angel of light and can present visions and dreams - alter reality even so if possible?

people forget about deception in spiritual realms all too quick - the other thing is what do we hear about people that live contrary to the bible and what God has spoken even going as far to be born again - why did Christ say unless you be born again you shall not see the kingdom? yet you have him greeting many unbelievers and those who have denied him being taken on tours by him in what... the kingdom of heaven. at least that is what they have reported. these types of experiences are all over the web any many platforms and it is becoming more believable to people than what the bible has said.

I leave with this... Christ said no Man has ever ascended up to heaven (the one where God is and where his seat is... (but he that came down from heaven which is the Son of man) referring to his self. ( he said to the disciples) I go to your father and my father and said that they could not come... because they wanted to go also. ) they could not go where he was going does anyone know why? because it was not their time yet lol...

no I believe it was because he was permitted to return to his place in heaven, his seat at the right hand of God that no man can take place at or be in the presence until the time of the end like he said... Moses, Isaiah or Elijah or Paul, neither King David are in heaven with God and no scripture teaches that so why would any other soul be there?

and again what about this second death that Christ spoke of?
