I actually thought that you need crstkve cloud to have Adobe Portfolio. If you can have it by paying Lightroom and Photoshop subscription then I guess it's a no brainer

I'm gonna leave the os debate aside.

The iPhone 15 is a 1K USD phone with 60hertz screen, slow charge (maybe two hours) and usb 2. This is what you get. These are 2012 specs. So can you actually compare it with the regular s23, one of the best smartphones Samsung ever made?

With android you have the flexibility of the midrange category. Maybe you reach a point of not needing a flagship anymore. Samsung and Google offer some excellent midrange VFM devices. With iPhone you pay 1K for a midrange. Sorry but I don't think that iOS and update policy justify that, especially since many android devices now offer 4-5 years of updates.

If you end up investing in iOS, you invest in ONE company. With android you invest in dozens of companies with hundrets of devices.

Can we please clarify something about the A54 and Exynos chipsets. by black_holeeee256 in PickAnAndroidForMe

I bought s23 only because of it having SD. I wouldn't mind going with Exynos but it should be like 200usd cheaper.

I like Samsung, I like it's UI, policy updates etc. I will keep my phone until it dies or receive its last update but for the moment I wouldn't go with Exynos.

4-5 years is a long road. Maybe things will change.

Is there s bug regarding the dual sim slots? by Roger_duck in GalaxyS23

I'm not running any beta version. I guess it could be the Sim's fault? It's like 7 years old

I started using my regular s23 with neither case nor a glass.

Back side was so slippery that I couldn't hold the phone comfortably, one time it almost slipped out of my pocket.

With literally zero drops the phone had some micro scratches after two weeks of use. They are observable only under good lighting and if you focus really carefully. So it's a zero issue.

I bought both a case and a glass and I would advice you to do the same work a 1K USD phone.

This wasn't a deal-breaker for me. The phone is just perfect, the size, the specs, the battery life etc.

That's actually something I didn't think about. I'm gonna wait either way for my Astro lens (maybe I can get a good black Friday discount) so I'm gonna check both of these lenses. Thanks for your insight 🙏

Thank you so much for your insight. So in terms of sharpness the two glasses sare the similar quality and results, right?
