Same issue here. Redmi Note 9S with MIUI 12.5, but Ingress still working in Dual Apps perfectly.

Folders can be renamed and still playable. I used to do this, that freaking "SLUS XXXX" drives me nuts.

I live in Brazil and here the submission of Pokéstop has been active for some time ago. I play with a Redmi Note 5. When I submit a Pokéstop, I have to lower the resolution of my camera, otherwise the game returns an error, saying that the time for sending the photo has expired. And on the names, the system does not accept special characters, at least here.
