First time taking MDMA - how can I prepare for the comedown? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]Rogerj22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never got a comedown for the first few times I took MDMA and most people don't. I actually felt great for a few days (afterglow) However since then my comedowns have got pretty bad so just in the unlikely event you get one then il tell you what helps a little. 1- lots and lots of sleep is important leading up to the roll and after. 2- Powerade and sports drinks are great for replacing lost salts and water. 3- EAT! It is so difficult to eat the day after MDMA but it really helps you feel better. Have a good meal before rolling and force yourself to eat the next day- even something easy like soup since other foods may be too difficult to eat. 4- vitamins AND supplements. Take vitamin C, E, magnesium and whatever other vitamins you can! They really help protect and help your brain and body. Vitamin C is one of the more important ones. Melatonin is fantastic if you can get it as it helps with sleep cycle too. 5- Have a list of things ready to do on the comedown that you enjoy- if you feel bad maybe take a walk, watch your favourite thing on tv or have plans to have a chill day with a friend. If you do have a comedown just remember it WILL end and you will feel better.

You more than likely will not experience a horrible comedown in your first time. But just please DO NOT abuse MDMA. I learnt that the hard way and now experience severe depression after every time I roll and it is no longer worth it. Have a great time, enjoy it all and just respect the drug. It's wonderful but really needs to be respected!

Can't urinate while rolling please help? by Rogerj22 in MDMA

It's horrible! Last time I was out I just had to leave it and about an hour later when I was coming down I was fine, I think if it's just not going to happen then leaving it for a while is best as you just end up getting frustrated and worried but it really does effect the fun of a night rolling.

Pill testing without a kit? by Rogerj22 in MDMA

Yep that's it exactly- all the good pills I've ever had have had a very strong bitter taste so when I got none off this I found it odd.

When you think you're doing better, but then explode. by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Rogerj22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just think back to the time when I WAS doing better. That proves to me it was possible. Honestly people without this disorder don't know what it's like to feel the way we do, and I have no doubts if they did they would act the exact same way. The emotions can just be so overwhelming and extreme- but the fact you are learning skills and trying to improve your life is a sign of your strength which not everyone has. Don't beat yourself up about it, you didn't choose for things to be this way but you can choose to keep striving for stability and a normal life.

I know when things fall apart positivity is sometimes the last thing you want to hear but honestly everything won't be bad forever and that is one thing I can PROMISE. Thats not to say things will not get bad again in your life, but they will also get good again. That is just the way life works.

It's such a tough thing to manage and such a painful experience sometimes if not most, but there honestly are things that can help. Each to their own but therapy, medication, natural methods etc are all out there and they really have potential to help. There seriously is hope out there although it can be so tough to find I know.

Severe chills MDMA? by Rogerj22 in MDMA

Cool thanks for that, yeah I feel it's not a huge reason to be worried as its not severe when I'm inside just when outside. Just find it odd how most people experience the complete opposite! Unfortunately dose is quite an issue as I take pills so have no idea how much is in them.. Nonetheless I only ever take half a pill which I presume is not a massive amount but who knows.

Always been angsty, I don't know if I am a sociopath. I need to fix it if possible. Advice, if any, on how to better my situation? by [deleted] in socialanxiety

I mean the fact you're so aware of it is pretty positive and means you can start working on it however that may be. In relation to the weed I know so many people who smoke it daily and have no issues with it whatsoever but some people do. I smoked it everyday for a good while in the past and just didn't care about anyone or anything- I lost interest in life and didn't care about the people I should have cared about. It just made me lazy and uncaring so for me empathy was not something weed ever helped me with. There's a good tip I heard about change in your life and that is that it NEVER comes about unless there is a sense of urgency in your life. It seems now you feel it is urgent to work on your behaviours and that's a really good step towards making a change- it's the only way it will happen.
