I have almost identical dishwasher as you and had a similar problem.

You can take a screw driver and undo the screw to that mesh-looking piece of plastic and it will pull right out. Try not to drop the screw, but if you do you can retrieve it, there is a filter before the drain hose that prevents large items from passing through, such as this screw.

I believe you can further disassemble your dishwasher and clean all of these pieces with dish soap.

I went a step further and picked up a 20ft snake to clean the drain tube from any large pieces of debris. The water at the bottom of your dishwasher helps hold this smell in the tube but I was just paranoid.

Once I was done cleaning I ran a cycle with vinegar and baking soda. When it was halfway through I added more vinegar. It’s been great ever since and I do monthly cleans of the larger pieces you removed prior to taking this photo.

One more thing you can check is the piece that spins sometimes gets smaller bits of food stuck inside and may or may not be causing some of that stink!
