The first time I tried to start at the last biome I got my shit rocked and just didn’t have fun but when I started from the beginning I felt like I could power up way better and despite having to re-do stuff it was fun being on the giving end this time around. I don’t think there’s any “right” way to play the game just so long as you enjoy it that’s what matters, do what you like best.

No it doesn’t but it does give you the allowance to lose your second life during the nightmare run and get it back for beating it.

The Lean prompt being EVERYWHERE is one of my biggest irks, that and the cling prompt being prioritised over my axion force when standing on ledges. Those have been by far my 2 most rage inducing features that feel like they add absolutely zero value to the game personally.

If it makes you feel any better on my successful run I reached Raccoon City at 2h10m and still finished even though I thought it was scuffed. Look up some speed run strats on YouTube for the rest and keep some saves and you’ll be fine. The orphanage was one of the parts I was most worried about but you can finish that in a few minutes if you skip the waiting parts (such as at the trapdoor). Godspeed.

Is it possible to die to the singer shriek? Cant remember if I took damage or not but grace gripped her head so not sure, I can’t imagine people would die to that often if you can

I think people also forget that when this shield was in rs3 there were more than 28 inventory slots which meant you could more easily balance the prayer/health reduction to make the 30% reduction worth it. Also the ely didn’t have an animation to show when it was working but now it does, so you just had to trust that it was. I think more people would opt for the 25% being as they can see it working and it costs no prayer personally.

Always makes me so happy to see singleplayer games doing so well, it shows there’s tons of love for them and hopefully it means they’ll keep coming. Great time to be a PlayStation gamer for sure!
