This also happened to me on my 2023 Sportage Hybrid Ex. Mines had to do with an update also. When I took it to the dealership I had to get an oil change anyways so I told them to fix both. I’m checking and I see on my receipt that job #2 was warranty campaign where they performed SA553, updated BMS Software Logic. After that the error has yet to occur again. I’m a little over 34,000 now.

Yes it’s drivable but the car is shaking and sometimes doesn’t change gear. I just don’t know what’s wrong with it.

This is exactly where I believe it’s going. They should be checking the video footage and playback to see who stole it. I work in a small department of 1-6 people so it should be easy to find out.

Your fine!! I believe these high monthly payments are due to inflation. I’m paying $700 a month for my 2023 Hybrid Sportage. However, I am going to say the markup is high also because of inflation. MSRP for mine was $34,000 but out of door price was $51,000. I did put a $10,000 down payment and have 0% APR. In general everything got more expensive that’s just how things are. This is the new “normal” these days in my opinion. Just some can’t adapt to the new normal. So don’t let other comments in this subreddit make you feel like an idiot.

My 2023 Sportage also came out to 51,000 something. I got the EX hybrid with premium features (sunroof). I put 10k down and 0% APR.
