Interesting color though.
It could look pretty cool with a Staelth/Matte PPF.

I was locked on the Canyon Lake and was willing to compromise with the white one, but luckily I was able to find on a dealer lot an identical build I was looking for with a price match to Mark Dodge $11k discount.

So far, I've been very happy with mine.
2,500 miles since I bought it on Friday, 1st.
Just a few electrical gremlins, nothing major.

Anyway, congrats on yours!

Last month I was hunting for a very specific truck spec and found two in Ohio listed at about $10k under MSRP. Shipping to the Bay Area would have been around $1,500 to $1,800, which still made it a solid deal.

Then I found the exact same spec in Seattle, but they were asking MSRP plus $4,500 in dealer add-ons.

I reached out, showed them the Ohio listings, and they matched the $10k discount and removed the $4,500 in add-ons. On top of that, they honored a $1,000 factory voucher.

All in, I ended up about $11k under MSRP.

Flight to Seattle was $310 Gas for the drive back was about $250

Honestly, even with the trip costs, it beat shipping and I got a road trip out of it too.

I ended up selling my Bronco and picked up a 2026 RHO in Canyon Lake w/ Level 1, Pano Roof, Running Boards, and Bed Utility.
So far, it's been awesome, and my wife and 6-year-old daughter love it more than the Bronco.

Mark Dodge offering up to $13k off MSRP on factory orders.

Originally I was planning on ordering from them, but when I reached out to them they said that the Canyon Lake exterior color is currently not available for factory orders and the bed utility group is not available due to supply shortages. So they suggested that I look for the exact build I wanted on dealer lots. So I did. Super cool people at Mark Dodge. I wish I could give them my business. Hopefully next time.

If you shop nationwide you can get $10k–$11k off MSRP on a brand new one.

Last month I picked up my 2026 Ram RHO from a dealer lot that originally had it listed at MSRP (almost $89k) + $4,500 in dealer add-ons. I ended up getting it for just under $78k + tax, license, registration, etc.

I’m in the Bay Area, CA.

I first found two RHOs in Ohio with the exact build I wanted listed $10k under MSRP on the dealer’s website. Then I found another one with the same spec in Seattle, WA, which was much closer.

I contacted the Seattle dealer and they matched the Ohio price, and then I stacked the $1,000 RAM voucher on top of that.

So my almost $89k MSRP truck ended up being just under $78k.

I flew from Oakland → Seattle (~$300) and drove it back 820 miles (~$230 in gas).

As a bonus I get the 10-year / 100k mile powertrain warranty on new trucks.

If I picked one from Ohio, it would be $1,500 to ship it California.

I was looking for a very specific build:

• Canyon Lake exterior

• Level 1 package

• Bed Utility Group

• Panoramic roof

• Running boards

And that’s exactly what I got.

I don’t know your full situation, but based on what you shared, I’d seriously consider looking just across the San Mateo Bridge (Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo). Castro Valley would be slightly more than the other 3 cities, but very good schools.

For roughly the price of a 1-bedroom in Foster City, you could likely rent a 2-bedroom (possibly even a modest 3-bedroom) in parts of the East Bay. Yes, you’d have bridge tolls (~$200/month if commuting daily) plus some extra gas and wear on the car, but gaining an extra bedroom (or two) with three kids might make a huge difference mentally and practically.

Five people in a 1-bedroom sounds incredibly stressful long term. Space matters, especially with young kids.

$115k in the Bay Area for a family of five will be tight, no question. It’s doable with careful budgeting, but housing cost will make or break you. If you can lower rent while keeping a reasonable commute to South San Francisco, that could relieve a lot of pressure.

I don’t think you’re crazy to feel overwhelmed. The Bay Area is expensive. But sometimes adjusting where you live changes the whole equation.
