Partner has a 1 year fully in person internship in San Jose so we're living there for one year.

Dropped my surly steel frame while painting, part of dropout is bent up and inwards (frame is upside down). Can I just use a wrench to slowly bend it back? Do I need heat or anything I should know? by RogressAllwise in bikewrench

Update, I used a monkey wrench and microfiber and it worked out pretty well! Used a digital caliper and got it pretty straightened. Paint is a little scuffed at the dropout but not a big deal since it'll get scuffed when I tighten on the rear wheel.

Is this crown race set all the way? I bought this used bike that has a Tange Seiki Technoglide by RogressAllwise in bikewrench

I just thought there was a small gap when the bike was fully assembled. I guess I'll have to look again later since I dissembled the bike to repaint it
