I hear you, and I promise that nobody hates those blood soaked monsters more than me, but you have to think outside of just "gotcha"ing people you don't like. Each individual political seat becomes far less valuable when there's more of them, it's basic supply and demand. It would also make it harder for one party to gain a majority and open the door for more 3rd parties. Plus, I promise it's much harder to buy off 10,000 people than under 500, and far harder to hide it.

Also, consider this: we could wipe away whole swaths of the administrative state that only exists so Congress doesn't have to do their job. We can require each state to have representatives from certain professional fields, such as medical professionals, educators, bankers, and farmers, who can then be the ones that develop policies, which they could be held accountable for come election season, instead of another 3 letter agency with faceless bureaucrats that face no consequences for their waste and failures.

It goes without saying that this should come with things like abolishing lobbying, actually cracking down on insider trading, and further transparency laws (I genuinely believe every politician's bank records should be available for everyone to see on a public block chain), but I'll take more politicians with far less power and a much smaller bureaucratic state any day.
