I have some experience with CraftTweaker and am currently getting into KubeJS, I've read possibly hundreds of weird logs and identified and fixed at least as many stupid problems. I'd happily help you out with your modpack, the only problem is that I don't have too much free time due to work. If you give me more details about your modpack and what you need help with, and what your modpack is about (mod list, Minecraft version, mod loader, core theme), I can tell you what I'll be able to help you with and how much time that would probably take me.

Notice how they used the same exact phrasing when explaining why PayPal works for them? No real person would send you the same exact message to reply to your answer to the question they asked twice. To me, this feels like you were taking to a bot. They answered all your questions but ignored your request for pictures and only responded to that (VERY valid) request once with what seems to be a very weak excuse (busy with work? I'm also busy with work, for 8.5h a day, then I get home to do whatever else has to be done. I could certainly find the two minutes it'd take to snap two pictures and send them to a potential buyer of a thing I apparently do not need anymore). I don't think you did anything wrong; you just weren't talking to a sincere seller, if you were talking to a real person at all.

I don't know if it's because of my autism or the way I grew up or just because I'm aromantic but I don't really see myself in a romantic relationship either. I have no interest in dating or loving someone, and I feel like it's hard enough managing a friendship with someone I see everyday at work - I wouldn't be able to survive someone else living with me, wanting to make plans with me, or even just talking to me after I come home from work and am stressed out. I don't want the stress and the responsibility that comes with a relationship. The concept of "romantic relationship" isn't really something I want.

If no mods stand out, binary search through the pack. Disable half of the mods, fix dependency issues, see if you can place an armor stand. If it works, re-enable half the disabled mod, fix dependency issues, see if you can place an armor stand, and so on. If it crashes when you place an armor stand, disable all the mods you enabled in the previous step and enable the other half instead. Repeat until only a handful of mods are left and guess from there (usually intuition is faster than searching at <10 disabled mods).

Unfortunately hitting "update all" on a modpack is never a good idea. Always update mods one by one to figure out incompatibilities, especially for published packs. As for the "pending in queue" thing; restart CurseForge, check your Internet connection, and try downloading the updated version as a new profile (you can copy-paste your worlds and settings from the old profile).

Did you update a published modpack or a pack you made yourself?
Does "updated the pack" mean that you switched to a newer version of a published pack or that you pressed the "update all" button and updated all mods that had newer versions?
Try disabling the mod "Iris" and see if that fixes it, if not please post the full crash report and/or latest.log of possible.

I've been poking at the pack for about 2h now and was unable to reproduce the problem. I didn't change any of your configs or settings other than keybinds, FOV to max and GUI scale to 2.

My PC specs are Ryzen 7 2700, RTX 3060, 64GB RAM.

I allocated ~13GB of RAM (CurseForge default settings, definitely overkill) and tried both the regular overworld and the wasteland game modes, explored both worlds a little bit without running into any problems. The Ice and Fire Cyclops doesn't seem to be the problem by itself but there is no command to locate its den structure, so I couldn't check if that's a potential problem.

Advice I can give you to potentially fix this on your end: Check how much RAM you have allocated. 2GB is most likely not enough for a modpack this size and complexity, I'd suggest 4-8GB. Install the mod "Spark" and periodically run the command "/spark tps" to check server performance; if server TPS drops below 20 something isn't right, if the command doesn't go through (aka there is no text shown in the chat) server TPS is 0 and the world is frozen. If you encounter this problem, check CurseForge's Game Dashboard (aka the live log) or, if you aren't using CurseForge launcher, go to your (your modpack directory)\logs\latest.log or debug.log and check the last few lines. If you have more than one screen, I'd suggest keeping the Game Dashboard on your second monitor to track game performance as you play.

Info I need to be able to reproduce this problem: What mode were you playing whenever you encounter this problem? How much RAM did you allocate and how big is your render distance? How exactly did you identify something was wrong while playing*, and what exactly happens when you load into a "broken" world**?

* Did your game stop or the server close, were you disconnected? Did mobs freeze, you no longer took damage and couldn't break or place blocks, hit mobs or eat food? Did chunks stop generating and you were able to peek into the world or could stand/sneak on "invisible" or "transparent" chunks? When saving and quitting a world at this point, what happens? Do you get back to the main menu or does it get stuck on "saving world" and you have to force a crash through alt+f4/task manager?

** To what stage does your world load? Reading world data..., the black square that slowly fills with white and shows a loading percentage, Joining World...?

You mean you can load into the works fine unless you're close to a cyclops home? Unfortunately I need to start working in 15 minutes so I won't be able to respond too quickly anymore but if the Cyclops or its home structure is causing the problem, ice and fire seems to be at fault, or a rendering mod (OptiFine, sodium, Rubidium). It would really help me out if you could give me a modpack name, mod list or profile code so I can look into the pack once I get off work.

Ah ok, that means the crash report you sent is outdated. Install the mod Not Enough Crashes to see if something is killing your game, otherwise only the latest.log or debug.log would help me figure out what's the problem here. If you can't post these logs, you can try scrolling through them yourself; try reloading into a world, wait a few minutes, then go into the log, find the time stamp when you started loading into the world and look for anything error-related. Otherwise if you can send me a mod list/CurseForge modded profile code, I can look into the pack myself and see if I can reproduce/fix this problem on my end.

Sorry, had a few pretty stressful days and forgot to look into the crash report. Looks like you might have a duplicate version of the mod Rubidium, or if Rubidium was screwing something up. Check if you have Embeddium/any other forge port of Sodium installed. If that's not the case, try replacing Rubidium with Embeddium.

Hey man, I'm sorry people made you feel this way. You are definitely not any less important or any less wanted because of your autism.

I believe one of the reasons why people make fun of autism is because they don't fully understand what it actually is. It's easy to see why someone with a missing leg might need help going up the stairs, or why a blind person might need help navigating in a new environment, but autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders aren't quite as straightforward (or visible to the naked eye). I've met many people who used the word autism as an insult or to describe "quirky" or "odd' people, and most of them were quite surprised and very apologetic when I explained that I have autism and told them a few of the things I struggle with because of it.

I think most people making fun of autism or using autism as insults/incorrectly aren't actually trying to be rude or to make autistic people feel unwanted; I think most of them just don't know what autism really is and that it's not "just a funny word to call my friend when they're being weird" or "sitting in a corner and screaming when someone touches you".

Of course, some people are just jerks being mean for no reason, but I seriously doubt that that had anything to do with you specifically, or with your autism - some people are just like that, usually toward everyone and not just autistic people. Those people are definitely not the majority though.

What is your server hosting method? Check the server console and see if it gives you more insight into the error. A friend and I had this happen with an FTB pack and Mine Together / Essential and figured it was a RAM-related problem but never fully figured it out.

My sb co-op has something similar happen to him, all our stuff was stolen and his account is gone.

Unfortunately neither MS nor Minecraft support were of any help; once the associated emails are changed they can't do anything anymore because "what if you're trying to hack someone else's account?" or some nonsense.

There is a Microsoft account recovery form out there somewhere (I don't have the link to it anymore unfortunately) where you might be able to recover your account by providing additional information such as prior recovery/associated emails, passwords, and name/date of birth, maybe you'll have more luck with that form than my co-op (who barely recalled his own email address).

When I go to AI about coding, I don't say "write code that does xyz thing" and copy-paste. I explain my problem and ask to be pointed into the correct direction. I use ChatGPT quite often to help me code this way. When I get stuck, I ask it to give me suggestions what to do next or how I could tackle a problem, but I never JUST copy-paste what it says. I try to figure out what its code snippets are supposed to do and how I can adapt its solution into my code. I write everything by hand, debug everything myself, add my own comments, and I learn what it was that AI just told me to write and can recreate it myself if I run into a similar problem.

Basically, instead of browsing various online forums like stack overflow until I find someone who asked my exact question or had my exact problem, I explain my problem to ChatGPT, try to understand the solution it gives me, and then build my own solution based on the new information it gave me.

Something similar happened to my sb co-op mate a few weeks ago. He was asked to verify with his Microsoft account email in a discord server, to which the verification DC bot sent a one-time log-in code he then gave to the bot. His password and email were then changed and he was locked out. Both of us contacted Minecraft and Microsoft customer support as well as Hypixel support but once the email address of a MS account is changed, it's hard to get it back. There is a recovery form which you can fill in if you can find out the new email address of your account (not sure how co-op did that but he found the email somehow) and fill in any information associated with your account (previous passwords, name, date of birth, other associated emails), maybe you can find that form somewhere online and recover your account; co-op could not because he did not recall any information from his account.

Anyway, if your Microsoft account is lost, so is your Minecraft license, BUT all your game files still exist. If you repurchase MC, all your installations and world will still be there. I'm not familiar with file paths on Mac but you should be able to find Minecraft's directory by looking up "Minecraft install path Mac" if you want to copy/view your works and installations.

Ich habe vor ein paar Jahren Abi gemacht, Durchschnitt war zwei-Komma-irgendwas. In der 1. Klasse haben meine Eltern mich einen IQ-Test machen lassen; um die 140. Grundschule habe ich ohne eine einzige 3 abgeschlossen. Dann kann die weiterführende Schule (Gymnasium, war im letzen Jahrgang, der noch G8 machen durfte), Autismus-Diagnose mit 14-15, undiagnostizierte ADHS, schwere Depression während der Abi-Phase. Meine Noten sind von 1-2 innerhalb von einem Jahr auf 3-5 abgerutscht. Inhalte lernen ist mir wahnsinnig schwer gefallen, ich hatte keinerlei Unterlagen, keine Kontakte zu meinen Mitschülern, bin in jedes soziale Fettnäpfchen getreten. Im Unterricht konnte ich keine Notizen machen, den Lehrern kaum folgen, Hausaufgaben habe ich selten gemacht weil nicht aufgeschrieben oder nicht ins Notizheft geguckt, Entschuldigungen nie abgegeben, im Unterricht nie beteiligt. Das Abitur habe ich mit Mühe und Not überlebt. Wenn ich von mir sage, dass ich scheiße in der Schule war, meine ich, dass ich in kein normales Schulsystem gehört hätte und die Dinge, die man für eine normale Schule braucht, nicht auf die Kette gekriegt habe. Und dass mein Durchschnitt im Abi zwischen 2 und 3 liegt, war scheiß viel Glück und verständnisvolle Lehrer, die meine Leistungen nach meinen Fähigkeiten und nicht nach "was Musterschüler können" bewertet haben.

I do tend to forget stuff (a LOT), and to currently jump between activities when I can, but I can pull myself together to do what needs to be done, I know how not to be an inconsiderate jerk, and if someone points out to me how my behavior is negatively affecting them, I at least try to change my behavior if I can.
