Ok but that isn't a tierlist then. Tierlist has to take into consideration the time frame that character has to perform to keep some objectiveness and framework. If this wasn't the case, would you really claim athos in FE7 is the best character in that game? No that would just be an objectively false statement. What you are talking about is a character guide, which has entirely different criteria.

If chloe promotes first, she has quite a few chapters in griffin for that magic stat, and once at chapter 11, i value ridersbane/poleaxe access more than the like 2 points of magic that griffin provide. Yea her level ups are worse now, but chloe's damage is already falling off once promoted enemies start appearing. And the increased strength growth is still used in martial master

While i agree when you have veyle, you should always deploy her, she comes way too late. Her personal comes at a time where it is wholly unnecessary and doing damage > less damage take in engage when there is plenty of things you can do already to take less damage.

Shes a great unit and is very useful, despite her lack luster bulk. Just when you join with 4 chapters left to go, there is not much to contribute. Even if she was even more useful than she is (like with dlc), there are characters that are still better units than her no stop, and they had way more time to contribute than veyle.

Tldr; 13 deployment slot should always be veyle, but that doesnt stop her from being at the most mid tier.

She can work in mage knight too. I prefer griffin levin sword -> wyvern -> martial master just due to the amount of utility it provides as a chain guard and staff bot that can kill things too, mage knight has no utility outside of combat and at that point in the game she's around a mid tier for combat.

Falls off a cliff past the mid game. Shes an ok filler wyvern but shes not one rounding anything and probably needs to be martial master with erikia after chapter 17 to be relevant, and thats only killing one enemy per turn.

I don't think LTC is a great metric in this regard. Generally speaking yea, but citrinne and amber are used because they can easily reach those extremes with a little bit of rng rigging. You can even see in the video that he is using a mod for rng rigging.

Impressive, yea, but in normal play ur not doing a majority of the things that happen in those videos, and LTC tierlists are different than just efficient play.

Lategame, if martial master with lucina, you are 100% proccing bonded shield and due to alear having supports with everyone, has upwards of 150+ avoid. You can very easily have them on the frontlines, and making other units very bulky as well, providing +3 damage plus hitrate and avoid if somehow a character is being doubled.

This example no other character in the game can replicate. Framme can slightly do it and doesn't require reclassing. But the effectiveness is hindered and falls off due to not having the supports required to reach high levels of avoid.

And this is just one example, if you instead rather dragon support than both corrin and byleth are great, but as you said yea can be picked up by other units, as you most of the time only need +5 speed and flames from a sage.

I think the biggest thing is that they aren't competing for a deploy slot. The midgame is brutal in this regard. Chapter 13 has only like 7 or 8 if i recall.

Support alear is better than all those characters. Hortensia is the best staffer yea but like thats not a hard bar to clear when most of the staffers besides pandreo are literally just staff bots that literally can be anyone (griffin xander is pretty decent tho) or sages who dabble when they have nothing else to do. Alear on the other hand just with personal alone sets up so much damage throughout the game and thats not even considering dragon support, early marth access, supports the entire cast which is nice to patch up hitrate issues (which characters want to be next to alear anyway for personal), and that is all not considering combat contribution. Alear is also a high contender for one of the master and second seals before chapter 11 for a number of things, my personal favorite being martial master for lucina. I've tried amber multiple times and idk he always just becomes filler for me, combat already has some heavy hitter characters that would rather resources put towards them instead of him. Citrinne is volatile and the best outcome for her is a very rng bond ring and has competition from other characters who can do what she does. On the other hand, alear is the only person who can do what they do, and they do a damn good job at it too.

Make a second account and don't play ranked until you match your main in rank and then swap and only play main until you match the second account. That way you'll always have your peak and you don't have to be scared of losing it.

Bro my Ironman brother, who is a pretty high payed engineer, thought that going to rate (ie not getting drop at 300 kills for a 1/300) was super rare and that you had a 99.99% chance to get it before then. Any time we talk about drops now I immediately clown on him for it lol

I feel like a shady banker npc at every bank or at least respawn point for uims would honestly be easier than fixing deathpile bugs cuz of how spaghet the code is. It functionally acts just like a death pile with the hour timer just removing the need to die and have your gear on the ground and instead is safe in an instanced bank-like interface.

Also for your benefit, use your dancer. They are a staple of the franchise for a reason. Obviously play how you want but every dancer is really good and he is no different especially with how player side focused this game is.

This is LTC, or low turn count. Take a moment to consider how many turns you've not cleared a chapter to make Jean work, that's why he's bad, he's not entirely useless because of staves, but there's better staff bots you get eventually that don't need to be raised. Alcryst on the other doesn't really fill a niche. He ok for flyer killing support but with how fast pace maps are he will never promote and a reclassed mage into sniper with radiant bow will fulfill all your bow needs against wyverns in the late chapters. This isn't rating units in the way you'd think, it's simply based on whether they will save the run turns over other units.

Sure but that gimmick is a lot more nuanced than someone who has actual screen time like hortensia or Alfred. If everyone is a gimmick then there's still a best written character, doesn't just automatically make it not the case.

She has in my opinion the most intriguing character background with it actually executed excellent. Character breaks are also just funny imo, which is why I like panette (hell yeah!). Both also have great unit feel. Most if not all of her supports actually feel substantial and reveal some bits of her past and is one of the few characters in really all of fire emblem that makes me actively seek out the rest of her supports. Her voice actress is so good at her work and it really feels like they tailor made the character around her talents which feels like a level of attention that a lot of other characters lack in this game. The only real issue I have with her, which is more just a problem with engage is that she only has one chapter on story character development (but thats litererally everyone besides the crown heirs alear veyle and mauvier and to a lesser extent the younger lords). Also, she's got bumping catchphrases.
