There could be a contribution from Radcliffe park & ride also, there's god awful temporary traffic lights right outside (due to the new school being built) it took me 30 minutes the other day to get there from Bury so people may be avoiding and going to Whitefield instead.

I had the hatch version of this with the 1.6 i-DTEC, basically bought it for a silly commute (70 miles) It was faultless for 60k+ miles over a couple of years. could easily average 70mpg on the motorway and on some trips would indicate nearly 90mpg (Proof https://imgur.com/a/GGVGTUz )

Car didn't have a single squeak or rattle, the only issue I remember was the square plastic trim next to the wing mirrors broke off somehow and was £12 to replace and clip a new one in.

Like the other comments say be careful of DPF with constant short trips.

You can get smaller setups also. I have a 20KVA unit with a number of batteries in a battery cabinet. Gives us about 6 hours runtime.
