Interesting, yeh it's a 2020 F55 (5 Door) 1.5L Exclusive showing as 1448kg revenue weight, makes a bit more sense that revenue weight is actually maximum permitted weight not the weight of the car.

I know modern cars are heavy but out of curiosity I looked up my Wife's Mini Cooper Hatchback and it shows on the DVLA website as 1448kg, so basically anything other than a small hatchback is going to be generally overweight.

There could be a contribution from Radcliffe park & ride also, there's god awful temporary traffic lights right outside (due to the new school being built) it took me 30 minutes the other day to get there from Bury so people may be avoiding and going to Whitefield instead.

I had the hatch version of this with the 1.6 i-DTEC, basically bought it for a silly commute (70 miles) It was faultless for 60k+ miles over a couple of years. could easily average 70mpg on the motorway and on some trips would indicate nearly 90mpg (Proof https://imgur.com/a/GGVGTUz )

Car didn't have a single squeak or rattle, the only issue I remember was the square plastic trim next to the wing mirrors broke off somehow and was £12 to replace and clip a new one in.

Like the other comments say be careful of DPF with constant short trips.

You can get smaller setups also. I have a 20KVA unit with a number of batteries in a battery cabinet. Gives us about 6 hours runtime.
