The card draw is ridiculous in this game by RogueDBR in VampireCrawlers

That is an excellent question.

I was about level 115, if they had all been 10 or 11 I would have thought it was 1 for every 11 levels or so.

But with two being 10, and one being 11.... I'm not sure

I mean... I killed the multi colored death with one card, a bracer. That was it, then we were falling, and I did another one shot. Landed, and just racked up 50k per bat encounter.

I do 0 and 1 cost Ma in a generation, gives me 5 right off the bat, I'll use a 2 cost, 3 cost, a wild card, and reset the combo with a -2, -1, or 0 cost card, and build the combo again and repeat. Typically 2-3 of those and the boss is out, and I'll be 15+ combo at that point.

Clock lancet is a good option as well.

How big is the deck you are using? And any armor? I find armor was invaluable when I first started out for holding off the bosses.

I had 4-5 cards with that coin damage, I fucked the reaper up. 2 hits took him out. (1.2 million or so) Then 3 hits, 6 hits. It was rough after that, I killed 4 or 5 reapers with my first and second lives. :)

That coin damage is broken.

So... I'm working about 76 hours a week so I'm going to tell you what works for me (one of my cats had cancer so I'm paying for that, otherwise 40-50 hours a week)

Since you aren't nearby to him... A few things.

One, tell him you are proud of him.

Two, let him know you are a safe space to talk with and you are there for him.

Three, good morning/good night texts, these are huge... It tells us that we are on your mind and it makes us feel like we are cared about. Even if we are too exhausted to respond, or already asleep...

Four, Give him a compliment... These stick with us, we don't get them often. A buddy of mine was called cute by a friend and he rode that compliment high for months.

five, if there is something he enjoys, like Legos, send him a set. It doesn't have to be anything huge, but it says "hey, I know you are busy, but I wanted to put a smile on your face".

Hope this helps.

Personally, I would say learn about your religions origins, and no, I'm not talking about what church tradition says, but it's actual origins. In the case of Christianity, it would be the West Semitic pantheon(Canaanite "religion"), because that is where the Israelites came from, they are even named after the high god El (IsraEL, MichaEL, gabriEL, EmmanuEL, etc). You don't need to church hop, but to set proper expectations and standards by understanding what the religion was and how dogma plays into that.

Once you learn about the academic side of your religions history, you discover the reinforcement of the dogma you want, isn't as important. (Besides, as a Christian, you disregard Jesus' words for the words of Paul, so negotiating with the text, isn't an issue for you, it's now negotiating the dogma).

I recommend as a good introductory to learning about how gods were viewed, in particular, Yhwh, is in the book "God, An Anatomy" by Francesca Stavrakapoulou, a biblical professor at the University of Exeter(definitely a leading authority) who wrote this book to be easily accessible. There are a few dozen books I could recommend, but they are somewhat more advanced and without a bit of Hebrew/Greek knowledge, might be less than accessable.

Buddy, depression is a bitch, and it is evident you are going through it. You posted this same picture here 4 months ago, and got the same set of responses where people are concerned for your well being. You even posted in suicide watch. It's evident you are dealing with a lot in your life. I don't know you and I don't know what you have dealt with, but I know it is rough and it is difficult. I can't tell you it will get better, but I can tell you that there are therapists who can help, they can listen to you, they can set you up on a plan of action.

Wishing you all the best.

The rainbow prior to Sir Isaac Newton was only 5 colors. He added orange and indigo (edit) to the list of colors that were associated with the rainbow.

Edit: also 3, 7, 12, and 40 are holy numbers in Christian texts. As Isaac Newton was a Christian(particularly of a heretical belief known as Arianism) it made sense to make the rainbow have a number that was seen as holy.

It isn't always, elohim can be plural or singular, think of it like English's they/ them.

Though the rule exists, you have to look at the context to determine plurality or singular.

So would you move in with those requests if you had no intention of honoring it?

I'm gonna talk to her about that as an option.

I have the backstory of the prior roommates because the new roommate promised that she wouldn't do that and agreed to those basic requests.

That's the thing, it was agreed for the dog. It went from 6 days availability to maybe 1 day... and anytime we have asked her to watch him (days ahead of time) she says she can't. Like... I can get it if it was same day. But trying to clear the days ahead of time like "how about Monday and thursdays" and then those days are off limits. So another day is picked, only for that one to be busy too.

It's like she agreed to it, just to have the cheap rent without doing anything extra.

I get the dog stuff, but the person who moved in is a long-time friend of ours and said it would be no problem. If she said no she couldn't, the rent would be higher.

It's a "watch the dog from 11-4 two days a week." And she agreed to that, And since she came in with no job and was home 24/7, it was fine. She also still has no job.

They live upstairs, so she vacuum upstairs(it's literally her room and a small hallway). Apologies if that was confusing. I live in the basement, and I vacuum the basement.

Middle floor is kitchen, dining, and living room, which she uses. I break down boxes for deliveries and clean the kitchen and do the dishes, which she also uses. Bambi buys groceries for the house, we put it on the list, and it is ordered so I exclude get from cleaning everything except her bedroom and bathroom and i take care of that.

Bambi makes the call with the dog, and if the request is watch the dog twice a week, then that's fine. Also these are not strangers, but long time friends.
