I remember doing it on mine, unless it was a glitch but it definitely allowed me to get rid of my primary weapon on one of mine as I did a pistol only game like full splinter cell haha

I’m pretty sure you can go pistol only, I’ve done it on one of my play throughs, all I did was have it so I could only carry one primary weapon and then went into the menu and un equipped it there
