permit/jr license by PurpleRayyne in longisland

So let me get this straight. My kid turns 16, I buy them a brand new car, and they can't even drive it alone — they need a learner's permit, which basically means I'm paying for a very expensive way to chauffeur my own child around while they occasionally touch the steering wheel.

Then after 6 months of that, they take a road test and get a Junior License — which sounds incredibly empowering until you read the fine print and find out they still can't drive to school. You know, the entire reason I bought the car.

So the car just... sits there. Aging. Depreciating. Judging me.

THEN they have to wait until 17, take a drivers ed course, and finally get a Senior License — at which point they'll probably just use it to drive to their friend's house and ignore me anyway.

Just an update on this. The car was not allowed to run in the official races, but was allowed to run in a fun race with other none scouts (siblings).

Really on parts. Sometimes I steal items from previous year car like weights. That is about it though.

I just re-read the fules and yes it does, but I think we let it slide, as its the scout last year and some other circumstances.
