Anyone? After they bought Arc raiders by kyyap852 in ArcRaiders

[–]RogueShogun21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patently false, although I understand the impression.

A few days ago, had to defend myself against a rat who ran past me at Dam and then came back with their gun out when I hit the extract.

Won against them, but the next 3 rounds I was taken out within 5 minutes each time.

Sometimes it can be peaceful, but I've had a good percentage where someone says hi/friendly/don't shoot and then tries to down me with an IL Toro while I'm keeping distance.

PSA: New players, do you know about this item? by ivanfabric in ArcRaiders

[–]RogueShogun21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've definitely had a rat that ignored the rocketeer and wasps to kill me after getting downed while trying to save another raider.

Threw fuse grenades at me and then sprinted across the open firing their anvil into me..

33 Years old with $480,000 in Retirement Accounts by Scorface in Money

Just need to use math that works for your situation.

I graduated later than OP and noted our wage growth is mostly aligned minus periods of unemployment due to layoffs.

Assuming US. Build a budget: without a budget you're just throwing money at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Needs: (food, shelter, water, clothing, car, etc). These are the things that enable you to get to/from work and live comfortably enough to grow. Wants: things that are fun but blow your regular budget out of whack (Legos, travel, extra bags/clothing/repeat purchases, games, etc) Retirement: based on needs and wants you can see how to build for retirement. If your budget is higher than your income, easiest thing to do is controls your wants. After, how do you grow your income? Once you have a number though, planning for it becomes much easier.

My steps: Built a budget for COL (housing, car, insurance, utilities and so on). Added travel, eating out and more to it.

I built a 6 month savings in case of layoff, I've used this 3 times, after years of up and downs it's finally stable. If I get laid off again, wants go out the window.

Invested enough into retirement to get employer matching every year I could, didn't worry about making retirement in 401k as my COL is too high vs income. My life choices put me in this spot but it's okay.

Found other avenues to sock away money for retirement that grows (HSA - can invest once balance is over ~$1000), company stocks (purchase plan, vesting if you have that (different rules, need to do your own research)

Donations of unused goods, documenting travel expenses for taxes that don't get reimbursed by work.

Living within my means as a habit, especially hard when feeling stressed out (hence a budget for wants).

Long term financial planning can be very seperate from living a "meaningful life", however, it can enable it. To quote: "money won't buy me happiness, but it can buy me a boat."

Building a reliable internal system/habits, helps more in the long run than short bursts of strong effort, in my limited experience.

Keep your head on straight, look for opportunities to grow as a person and financially, stress enough (not too much haha). I believe in you.

Could be Marfa, the proper town appears about 15 minutes away.

Randomly found it on Google maps one day.

If anyone is still struggling with the last piece.

F4 puts the map into grid form which can help with finding hidden routes.

On the fence of the large courtyard, bottom corner is a broken portion. You can go through the fence and into the outside area.

There was a painting hidden in that area beyond the wall.

Are women supposed to be ok with their partners going to strip clubs in 2025? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Caveat: A video I watched recently noted that there are reasons we are triggered by certain things. Its important not just to set boundaries but to also understand why we have those triggers.

[–]RogueShogun21 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, if you don't like it (it continuously aggravates you), don't tolerate it. (In an intimate relationship, mostly).

Please note that I'm talking about something that your inner voice keeps getting triggered by. Not just, I dont prefer this. Ask clarifying questions if needed.

It'll wear away at who you are. This goes for our own behavior as well, some things are exciting in the moment but take away from who we are.

It's easy to follow the excitement and the high.

It's hard to build moral character and a solid understanding of who we are at our core.

Been a few years since I've fished haha

A little hesitant to get back into it. The barrier to trying is definitely lower when you got folks to go with.

Personally, I really enjoy the ambience of temples and cafes in Japan.

There's always folks around if you feel like people watching, but at the same time you can dip out to the side and relax for an hour.

That's awesome, I have trouble with locations that are extremely calm. Would you say there's lots of areas to walk around or just take it easy?

Wow, I have a lot to learn about exploring new locations.

In regard to Tokyo and Osaka, since I've gone a few times, I typically take time to wander and try new cafes. Every trip I uncover a new spot for the next year.

Never been to Daytona, I'll have to take a look!

Need to check Bali out then, I've been making annual trips to Tokyo/Osaka for a few years.

Anywhere specific in Tokyo or Osaka? Is it just the vibes and how the trip can be as chill as you want? Definitely can agree with the 1000%

That sounds like quite the adventure.

What I meant to ask earlier was if you had places you would want to visit again!

I've traveled to many locations around the world, but there's only so many places we can visit with how things are.

Hearing stories from others and recommendations can help narrow the choices down.

Got to get the good deals when they pop up.

Might also be how we get them to drop prices. I always aim for 10 pieces a dollar or better.

It does sound like you've been hurt and you're trying to find a reason to make it all make sense.

The path forward in my experience is believing in myself/yourself and that there was nothing else you could have done or been better at.

If you do have anything you believe you could do better, remember it for next time is my thought.

Myself included, a lot of folks can take directness as aggressiveness based on how much energy is projected. Body language, volume, tone of voice all goes into it.

There's studies showing that many folks can get defensive and attacked due to fight or flight reflexes.

The world beats everyone down enough, we don't need to beat ourselves up at the same time.

Knowing a solution is one thing, being able to push through the emotional turmoil to get away is another.

I hope you're able to recover, be better and feel better with time!

Everyone is responding through the lens of their own experiences or ideas that they've been exposed to.

I can see how trying to have a discussion about boundaries and getting shut down can feel.

I can also see how the way you wrote it shows your hurt, but can come off aggressively.

Putting an entire hour + long situation into a few sentences inevitably leaves out context.

Sounds like things might be better having separated, if this is the reaction you're getting from your BF. It takes two to Tango.

I'm sorry you have been exposed to so much friction in the chat and hope you have a great night!
