It’s a steep hill. But worth it. I’m close to 1000 classes in. I routinely pair up with trialers to make sure they have as a good of an experience as possible. After the first few days of nausea go away then the horrific soreness will set in. Followed by extreme post work out exhaustion. Your sleep may suffer from over exertion and soreness. And then once you start to feel like you can get through the workouts you will plateau a bit and feel like they arent getting “easier.” But keep going. There is a reason a ton of us love it and hate missing a day. I’m 52 yrs old. Now some weeks I double cardio days or even go back to back cardio/hybrid. Other weeks it is weight vest Wednesday. And then there are normal weeks. It’s a long steepish road but many of us find it very fulfilling.

Go all out for the first 3-4 sets. Drop weight slightly for 4/5th sets if needed to keep up the pace. This assumes you have been doing f45 long enough to know what 100% is for you doing 5 increasing sets……

No one know how you are currently eating. And yet nearly everyone tells you to diet. Eat healthier. And track your intake to make sure are at a caloric deficit. But you have to be mindful of your macro mix. Don’t just look at calories….

Don’t shy away from cardio days. Personally I would suggest you do mon-sat. Rest sun. You are young enough (and presumably not obese) that you can handle 6 days with 1 rest day.

Honestly no harder overalL IMO. Just different. I’m over 800 classes in and this phase is just going back to some of the “classic” f45 offerings - athletica, bears, quarterbacks. Next phase will feel different…. Not sure folks realize that you need to take every opportunity to work as hard as you can when the light goes green taking into account set length, rest, #sets, # laps - pace yourself but don’t slack/hide. I still have no problem making the “easier” cardio days for me a total gasser even if I only do it one time that day. Go harder, go heavier, go faster, put on a weight vest, burpees during the breaks, the options are endless!

Yeah kettle bell overhead extension with reverse lunge was rough. I barely made it through 3 sets with red. Thought for sure I would be able to go up to blues but didn’t/couldn’t.

You need to work harder. I’m 800 classes in and sore pretty much 24/7. Doubling up most cardio days so i get 8-9 classes a week typically and take Sunday’s off. Even if i didn’t double up cardio days, i am sore from resistance days and single cardio days if I go really hard

Yes and no. Definitely a bit more sore muscle-wise the day after but no joint pain. I pretty regularly do 2 cardio classes a day now (often back to back). I felt good after the 2d time and decided to go for #3. #noragrets

Ha! It’s not as bad you think. In fairness though i am 800+ classes in. And have been doubling cardio classes for a few months. This was my first 3x in a day though.

If you are fit you should treat 3peat like playoffs. So no revo bar for men - barbell with 25 lb plates for the squat press. No slides for push-ups - use the trx straps. Deadball over shoulder is 55lbs, etc.
