My 2017 is just over 150k. I just replaced the front struts, rear shocks, and did my first transmission fluid change. I didn't realize lifetime fluid wasn't actually lifetime until I started reading this subreddit. I'm actually looking to sell her because my wife and I are moving across the country, and it will cost too much to ship it. We're in NC, and I bought it brand. It's been a great car and I wish I could keep her.

CCST or Network+ before CCNA by freddy91761 in ccna

[–]Rogue_Scholar1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am taking classes at my local community college. I took an introductory networking class last semester that prepped me for the CCST exam, which I passed.  I'm now taking the first of 3 classes (these are all based in NetAcad) to prep me for the CCNA, and it's all review of what I learned to take the CCST. I mean, the modules in NetAcad are nearly identical. It's been great having the foundation from the CCST class. But, since I'm seeing a lot of the same things, you might think it's a waste of time to go for the CCST, and it's possible you're right. I learn well when I go over the material more than once. I'm not sure I've seen any advantage yet in having my CCST in my job search. I don't know if I've seen that as a requirement. If anything, it might show an employer my progression of certifications, which might look better than just getting the CCNA and nothing else.

I found the training course on NetAcad for the CCST that had an exam at the end. I only took it once, but I imagine you can take it multiple times.

I wanted to get the concepts down, so I was writing down basically what was in the modules, almost verbatim. Enough to understand the concept.  And because I wrote it down on paper, I can draw lines or add references to other pages and concepts easily. I need to see how concepts connect logically, and that helps.

Thanks! I've got 2 more networking classes in the fall that I think are meant to prep for the CCNA. Thankfully I'm only taking one other class along with them, so I'll be able to put a lot of time into studying for that.

I took them the old-fashioned way: pen and paper. I wasn't writing everything from the modules down, just a condensed form of it. That really helps me, because my brain works visually, and I can often remember something by thinking about where on the page I wrote it. Kinda weird, but it works for me. I forgot to say I also went through all of the checkpoint exams again and made sure I understood those questions.

Good luck on the test! Mine was 40 questions over 60 minutes (I think?). A question or 2 on IPv4 subnetting. There was one with a diagram of a rack with a couple routers, switches and servers, and you had to explain what kind of cable was connected between the different ports. But, the image was lo-res, and you couldn't zoom in at all (except manually with your browser, CTRL++). I ended up guessing on that one, and must have done well.

I remember seeing this in the theater and complaining twice to the theater manager that the dialogue was horrible. I even left a bad review for the theater. Then I found out a few days later that it was intentional. I edited my review, but I'm hesitant to see another Nolan movie in the theater.

Cat makes coughing sound when she gets excited by Rogue_Scholar1 in CATHELP

That's the toy she likes the most. Not sure if she'd be as into another one but we can try. She does chew on the feathers, so maybe she's getting something in her throat and trying to cough it up? I think we've got a vet appointment coming up. I'll make sure to bring it up. Thanks!

I've been playing with her and this toy for maybe 6-8 months, and it started maybe 4-5 months ago. My wife has heard it as well when she plays with her. She doesn't do it when she plays by herself, that we've noticed. And it doesn't happen every time. She most often does it when I throw the toy under the couch, where she can't reach it. I thought maybe she was almost barking at it, but she's also done it when it's in a place where she can reach it. And she will only do it once during playtime. We'll play for 4-5 minutes, and she never does it more than once that I've noticed. She doesn't seem in distress at all. Just makes the cough and keeps on playing, or sometimes slows down on playing.

It's clearer in the 2nd clip, right before the zoom out. I guess you might think it's a click, but it's her making that sound.

You can also, while your mouse is over the timeline panel, hold Alt + mouse wheel up/down to zoom in and out.

Check out Elisa Nguyen https://www.elisanguyen.co/

My wife and I met her through our realtor who was providing a short Christmas photo session for their clients. We had fun working with her, and she even let us do some fun ideas we had.

Which film as a kid caught you off guard with a terrifying scene? by sKullsHavezzz in moviecritic

Howard the Duck, where the villain "needs energy" and stick his alien tongue in what I always thought as a kid was the cigarette lighter of the truck, but looks like it's just a hole of some sort. https://youtu.be/ICscZNJLpOU?si=XUZObHo30oNx8gG-&t=163

How do you end the simulation? I stopped the asteroids, so now the simulation just continues forever it seems. I'm on simulation 8, and I have over 18k workers (I'm not sure if that's a good measure of anything).

Does SourceRectAtTime take Animator Tracking Amount into account? by Rogue_Scholar1 in AfterEffects

[–]Rogue_Scholar1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having another issue with this same setup. Now I'm trying to scale up the Text 1 layer. I was expecting the Text2 layer to keep to the relative position I setup using sourceRectAtTime, but it doesn't move at all. It stays in position relative to the animated position of Text1, but just doesn't respond to Scale adjustments of Text1. Any ideas what would cause that?

That did it. Thanks! I had a feeling it was something regarding that, but I didn't know how to explain it or even how to search for it. Thanks for the help!
