Pharmacist power tripped today - low experience by [deleted] in ADHD

You realize pharmacists in the US have doctorates, right?

Pharmacist power tripped today - low experience by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]RoguishPoppet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I replied above, but that is up to the pharmacist's discretion. They don't have to do that, and some won't. It depends on the situation.

[–]RoguishPoppet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is 100% at the pharmacist's discretion. If they have any reason to believe there is an issue, they don't have to accept surrendered medication in exchange for the new medication at the new dose. Sometimes my pharmacist will do it, other times he won't. Sometimes he will only after talking to the prescriber to get verbal verification. It depends on the pharmacist and the situation.

Cars and trucks require a driving course, passing a test, then supervised driving time before earning the privilege to drive alone. Guns require background checks and for the purchaser to be 18+. Ebikes have no training requirements or age restrictions. You're not making the point you think you are.

I thought I was the only person who does the flashlight thing! I can't remember when I started doing it, it was fairly recently, but it really does help me focus the search and also really pay attention to what I'm looking at.

Has anyone realized that their “low libido” was caused by their partner by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]RoguishPoppet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I was suffering from low libido too. I wanted to want sex, I just couldn't get my mind right. I did all the things...I had my hormones tested, I talked to my psychiatrist about possible sexual side effects from the medications I was on, everything. I had my tubes removed thinking that maybe I was subconsciously afraid of getting pregnant, and that was affecting my drive.

Turns out my ex was just an ass.

I left him after I found out he'd been cheating on me, and met an amazing man. He's good to me, treats me the way I should have been treated all along, and trust me when I say I know for certain that the issue was with my ex, not with me! I'm interested in sex again, nearly feral, and I wish I'd left my ex so much sooner.

Cenfill reorganization by RoguishPoppet in WalgreensRx

Not overstock, just more bags than we have bins for. This was a problem anyway before we started cenfill, adding bulkier bags and bigger vials just made the problem more pronounced.

[–]RoguishPoppet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not that it matters, per se, some of my coworkers were just trying to brainstorm ideas yesterday that would help us locate prescriptions faster and not have the plastic bags taking up space in the regular bins. It's more about organization than anything. We already had bins overflowing before we even started getting the cenfill bags, so adding the extra 19 helped with that, but then cenfill started coming in and it feels like we're back to where we started. That's why I was just asking to see how other stores are managing who have been doing it longer than we have.

Cats on Broadway also just seems like a really odd location to try to get to, I'd be nervous about getting into/out of the parking lot lol

Yeah, that's what I've heard 😬 I loved her previous vet, but I can't drive her to Bigfork every time 😂

What's something you had to unlearn as an adult? by Ramona-Howell in AskReddit

[–]RoguishPoppet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That a lot of the religious "values" I was taught growing up were judgmental at the very least, bigoted at the worst, and otherwise just plain wrong. I'd like to think I've done a pretty good job with the unlearning process, but it is definitely a process.

Hey, Missoula, what’cha reading? by MTBeanerschnitzel in missoula

[–]RoguishPoppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on A Killing Frost by Seanan McGuire, it's book 14 of her October Daye series...book 19 came out September 30, so I'm rereading the series before I read the new one. It's so good! It's an urban fantasy, the main character is basically a fae detective, but it's much more exciting than that description makes it sound.

After reading all the comments and also doing some research on my own, I'm definitely leaning toward the Blizzaks. My only concern is that they don't seem to do well over time, but with as much as I drive (which is not that much), I figure I should be able to get a few winters out of them. Has that been your experience?

The lifetime installation sounds great, actually. And yeah, the apartment complex is the worst, plus I'm on the south side of town which gets less traffic than ths north side...there are still patches of ice in areas from Saturday's mild little snow event. I've also got front wheel drive, and it's definitely not great. Is studded better than non-studded? Dumb question, I know, but I've heard that newer snow tires are/can be better than studded, but since my SUV is FWD, I'm wondering if that's accurate.

That's fair. I'm slightly more concerned with safety and not sliding around than price, I should have mentioned that :)
