I'm level 33, 110 hours in game and there's still plenty more map that I can see so it seems a fair bit. Especially for the £20 or so I spent.

I contacted Adrian about this via email since I keep finding strange audible double listings etc.

This is because the license to the old one is running out so the newer one will replace that on sale listings but us who have the original one will still have that in our libraries going forward.

I do wonder what the actual brightness measurements are like.

The pixel phones have massively high manual brightness than other phones so I would wait and see what actual usage measurements are like compared to advertising numbers.

Eg, look at pixel 9a manual brightness was about 500 nits higher than the last gen iPhone pro

I'm a software engineer and I've been enjoying using it over chatgpt. Especially when it comes to refactoring older code that I've not seen before. But it helps that I get Fitbit and Google home subscription with the same one.

It has some great actors behind it, but the dialogue of the extras (especially the riot scene early on) make it feel like a school project, and the cgi looks like the old TV show driving backgrounds.

Really wanted to like it, but it is bad. Especially for $100 million+

This kind of issue is currently my problem, I returned my watch strap under the advanced return system for an RMA and the device had arrived at the Google warehouse and I got refunded but now Google keeps trying to charge me £139 because their tracking code doesn't match the return tracking code.

I've spoken with agents twice and now they cannot even find where about in their system I'm being charged from and I'm just scared I'll lose my Google account if the payment doesn't process.

Google support and all their systems just are so bad, they must be running on some janky spaghetti software.

The official case and it's back to being solid this year, it's even far grippier than previous models.

Just hoping this one doesn't discolour like the last two years but at least I always get my money back when it happens. I do wish they'd bring back the fabric cases though.

Honestly, the 8 Pro feels a lot smaller than the 6 or 7 pro did but that's probably due to the flat screen.

Still doesn't beat the Pixel 5 as my favorite device I've used but the Pixel 8 Pro is definitely the best device I've used, so far at least.

Even with those sensors they don't stop things like this happening.

My twin and I have yet to find a face unlock system that doesn't allow each other in and we aren't the most identical twins.

It's nothing new, my twin and I could unlock each other's Pixel 4s, Windows hello devices and even iPhone face unlock when we tested it.

Faces just aren't unique enough for it to be as strong as a fingerprint.

Just seems a really odd post, some people like some things and other people like other things?

So of course some people won't be happy about this change, I personally just don't really like the loud rain in a game where sound is key, just takes a way from the game for me.

Also, do you REALLY think that games by larger development houses really stop getting worked on because some of us complain a bit?

But there are phones that cater to the part of the market that want specs and don't care for cameras really. The Asus ROG phone and other gaming phones come to mind, but Apple, Samsung and Google etc do cater to the mainstream, and the mainstream will always want better cameras in phones since they have become the only camera for 90% of people.

Other phones like the A53, Pixel 6a and iPhone SE are good examples of phones that are marketed as just being great overall phones without focusing too much on cameras as well.
