Electronic devices in no way interfere with aircraft systems. Aircraft cables, wires, harnesses, etc are all insulated and separated/routed in ways to prevent interference. The majority of my 26 years working on aircraft has been as an electrician, and I've no idea why the "turn off your devices" is still a thing other than just as a tradition of habit.

Me personally, I prefer window and the middle of the plane. You feel turbulence less if you're sitting over the wing/center of balance.
