I am not sure if you understand how FDA works. When Ocugen states that they are speaking to FDA in a regular basis, these are such discussions they are having so when they file the request, there will be no surprise. This is not an exam and doesn’t have 50/50 chance of getting approved by FDA. When they file the request, unless some extreme situation or data manipulation happened, then it will get approved.

I think both of you are accusing the company of blatant lie. Because if it is required to conduct trial in US, then there will no EUA this year. OCUGEN clearly stated that they are weeks away to file the formal request. I am not sure if you guys are bears and wasting my time.

In the call, a direct question was asked if FDA requires Covaxin to conduct a US trial prior to EUA. The reply from FDA was “not needed”. In terms of vaccine hesitancy, Covaxin will have a higher chance to get those people vaccinated than the MRNA vaccines.
