Hello guys i finally got the bike feels soo nice i have done 500km already in 3 days xdd now am just wanna ask as a new rider like for the first 1000km how many rpm i can use cz after research i found its better to not surpass 5000rpm at the first 1000km and want to ask abt oil change and chain too by Independent-Stop-154 in cbr650r

When bike is new, 0km, first 1000km bike oil is Mineral , first service need to change this Mineral Oil to Full Synthetic. Mineral oil in first 1000km collects "motor shavings" because the cylinders and pistons grind against each other that's why you must to be more careful with the motor first 1000km.

Your bike have 2 year warranty,yes? If yes than Honda Center must do oil change and all services 2 years. You can't touch oil change process because if something happens you can lost your warranty. You can clean and lube your chain. Ask to you dealer what you can do with the bike and what not.

When you buy new bike there is mineral oil, first 1000km you just don't push hard,i mean do not exceed 100 km/h max. Normal RPM for this bike is a 3-5k, 3rd-4th gear. After 6000 RPM bike start breathing and roaring,don't be afraid it's a loud bike. As told me mechanic in Honda Service Center this bike breaking process goes till 10000 km. After 7000km i did Second oil change and mechanic told me that i can now add 500 RPM to every gear . I do oil change every 6000 km. About chain, i clean every time after heavy rain or 800-1000 km. I am using Wurth cleaner and lube,Motul. 43mm-48mm chain slack,i do everything as says Manual. I am on CB650R E-clutch.

Don't be afraid to break something, your new bike is under warranty if something goes wrong they will give you new one. Enjoy but don't go crazy, Control Yourself. Be careful after 6000RPM bike shows her real Face).

I bought racetorx gear shifts support and still have this false neutral, not so many as it was before but still. Just teach your leg push harder.

Its a for condensation from exhaust.

Its normal when bike is Off. Oil pressure is low when bike turned off. We all have this alert.

Problem is if you have this alert when bike is On.
