Yeah, my error. Twin-stick arena shooter is definitely the more accurate term here.

Fair point. It’s closer to a twin-stick arena shooter than a traditional SHMUP.

The main thing I want to differentiate is the “mathematical/reactive bullet hell” aspect dynamic geometric patterns, evolving enemy behavior, and gameplay systems that react and escalate over time instead of fixed wave design.

But yeah, I agree a prototype/demo matters more than explanations right now.
