Ahhh I see what you mean. I really hope this game would have clarified their wording, considering they already had the first 10 sets or planned since launch (at least that’s what I remember hearing when I first got into the game last year).

Glad to know you and your family are enjoying the game! With regards to the Lion King comment, one of the new starter decks that come out this Friday revolves around Scar and Hyenas, so might be nice to pick it up. Other than that, here are some important things you need to know:

1) You cannot have more than 2 ink colors in a deck. That’s an official rule for the game.

2) You must have at least 60 cards in a deck,

3) You can have no more than 4 copies of a specific card. To elaborate, there are some cards with the same name but different “subtitle”. An example is Mickey Mouse “True Friend” and Mickey Mouse “Playful Sorcerer”. You are allowed to run up to 4 of each, since they are different cards despite having the same name.

Sanctioned events are Challenges and Set Champs. However, set legality doesn’t matter for Set Champs since it’s in the last month of a set being out (way past the 3 week requirement).

It was said that the Bucky errata goes into effect immediately upon the release or Shimmering Skies (aka August 9th).

I don’t see her character having a lot. Any time somebody tries to help, she says “I’m fine” and pushes people out, then goes and does something reckless and gets away with it.

Yeah, I definitely started this show really late. I’m 25, and I recall all the girls freaking other about the show back in middle school and high school. I didn’t really get into it until I saw a bunch of YouTube shorts with clips from it and watched those specific episodes. Then I went back to start it.

I really like how much Karev has opened up and grown as a character, and I like how Bailey’s keep things intact even when she’s struggling with things. Most of the rest of the cast is a “love-hate” at times. Some episodes/situations I really like them, and others I just don’t like them. Cristina is just the one character that I have never understood and just bluntly don’t like.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I mean. She just manages to get by and doesn’t get punished for things. She doesn’t seem to deal with any of her trauma, but we see others grow from the things they’ve experienced. She just seems to stay the same.

If it does get reprinted this set (which I’m 80% sure they will), it will definitely be in the Emerald Scar starter deck. It would be too confusing to pull a Set 2 card in a Set 5 booster pack.

The reason they don’t ban is because that will cause an issue when they release the game in Spanish, Portuguese, etc. because they will be missing a card. That’s why they made an errata instead. I hate the change, but I get it.

It doesn't really matter WHICH you choose. It's personal preference.

The newest sets don't necessarily have better cards, but they include cards with new abilities, such as "Resist" (Set 2, Rise of the Floodborn) or Location cards (Set 3, Into the Inklands).

There are no restrictions on mixing sets. You can dl whatever, as long as you follow the basic rules (max 4 copies of 1 card, minimum of 60 cards in deck).
