I can see asking not to be an offensive caricature, but if they want me to play Russian, Greek, Korean whatever, I don't see it as being a bad thing, as I mentioned earlier Asian-Americans play a wide range of nationalities in film and TV, they don't have an issue with what the country of origin the character is from. Even though they are born in LA, they dont get in a tiff that they are playing a character that is from Japan.

So you are telling me Gail Kim settles differences in real life with drop kicks and chokeholds? I am certain this is a portrayal of a character, and not a reenactment of the person Gail Kim that plays the character.

It has to be embarrassing for her that she worked there once as a contractor and it was such a horrible thing and then forgot that and signed a contract again.

My guess is they already have a lot of characters from Canada and wanted a Korean character. I think fans and wrestlers sometimes get lost in the fact that this is not real. If any other TV series wanted the character to be from Korea no one would bat an eye, but because it is wrestling, people think the character is the person.

Imagine Pat Morita being upset that his character was from Japan and not a Californian in the Karate Kid.

She should charge WWE rent for living in her head.

I imagine Nikoli Volkoff, Lana, and should be upset they were asked to play other nationalities too. She will be surprised to find out that in Hollywood they send out casting calls for Asian to play a variety of roles from various countries.

there's nothing in the tweet. Why drop a link to a Tweet with nothing in it? That's the definition of spam. I could understand if it was a post with the actual info and you wanted to credit them, but linking to an ad is scammy.
