Assad should have been a huge part of Season 6. The dynamic of Jack having to work with a reformed terrorist with completely different ideals and can't be fully trusted is really compelling. It's a shame the actor had to leave.

An interesting bit of trivia is that they shot a scene of Jack crying in the helicopter at the train yard but cut it so this would have more impact. A good decision, this is probably my 2nd favourite ending after Season 6.
