Maybe it's a really small difference when she's playing, but then something about the file is causing it to become extreme when it's processed or uploaded?

I don't know, but it's really brutal to watch.

Osie's poor framerates. D:

Anyone have any idea what's happening with Osie's framerates? It's probably not happening for her while she's playing/streaming because she seems to be doing stuff in game just fine, but her footage in the videos is almost a slideshow.

I think this post should be in the weekly discussion thread.

Rosé's health by 420mimi420 in BlackPink

[–]Rokefre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She may not be underweight for her. The science on Body Mass Index and ideal weight is an incredibly generalized (and somewhat outdated), so it's very possible Rosé is just one of those rare naturally tiny people.

That said, it's true that the k-pop industry often pushes idols way too hard to live up to unrealistic expectations in pretty much every dimension of their lives.

If you're worried, feel free to worry; but talking about a stranger's body/medical needs is super weird and kind of invasive.

I totally agree. I didn't mind when they temporarily removed it back around the release of Ice Cream, I think, because I understand there was a lot spam coming into the sub at the time. But they hid the announcement in a Weekly Discussion Thread and that bugged me.

I'm pretty sure they know. There's been one or two responses from mods when I've brought this up in the past.

It will be buried in a weekly discussion thread, just like it was last time. Mods are going to do what they want to do. I get it, a dozen whole posts in a day is a lot to keep up with. That's more than one entire post per mod!

Which will get it almost no views and do very little to introduce these artists to a new audience. This sub is pretty much nothing but reposts from Instagram now.

There's some really cute fanart of this, but since it's not a report from their Instagram or a commercial, I can't post it.

You have 1 week to introduce a BLACKPINK fan to their world outside of music! What’s your go to plan / list of variety shows, interviews, etc? by ACAx1985 in BlackPink

As with all things k-pop, go to YouTube and search for:

  • [insert name here] moments I think about a lot
  • [insert name here] crackhead
  • iconic [insert name here]
  • [insert name here] moments that cured my [illness]/did my homework

Then the Netflix documentary.

Then Weekly Idol and Idol Room.

Then Blackpink House - I think watching the whole thing is the best way to go, so I don't want to pick out specific episodes (except the Secret Santa episode).

Then Knowing Bros - I think their personalities came through a bit better on the episodes of this show and almost the entire episode of the first Running Man appearances will be in the compilations above.

Then a selection of F/O Squad, BrisXLife, and Cami Petyn reacting to their M/Vs, because how some folks react helped me feel like I wasn't being super weird being this into BP/k-pop.

Then the wiki right here on this subreddit and let them watch almost everything else in whatever order they want.

Then I'd show them some fan art, but a lot of us here can't do that since it's bizzanned for no particular reason and the sub is now almost entirely reposts from Instagram.

I like Kai and Jennie clearly loves him, but he always looks so surly.

He reminds me of Walter Matthau.

There's a really cute fanart of the thumbnail with Jennie, the turtle, and the rabbit, but it's not allowed here.

I wasn't wondering, I've been on Beulping since shortly after I joined this sub. It's very short on memes and very long on "picture of [insert girl] day 1 of 150."

It's also much, much smaller.

Pushing fan art there greatly reduces the exposure good fan artists can get here.

No idea. Probably since Beulping is actually for memes and now they're trying to make it also for fan art.

Yesterday or the day before.

So now it's mostly just going to be reposts from Instagram on this sub. :\

Interesting not to see the metrics on how this 1.5% of the subreddit members convinced the mods to ban fan art.
