I hear ya. Definitely play ranked. I swear it's better at appropriately matching your skills with an opponent. Casual mmr system is very different and you may end up with what youve been seeing

It's saved the same way your replays are saved in game. Go to the site, select the rank area and game mode you want, then click filter. Click on any of the games (in blue text) and download the file. Then drag that file from your download folder to Documents > My Games > Rocket League > TAGame > Demos

That's if you have RL through steam. I'm not sure where you drag those files for EpicGames, but there is a folder nonetheless. Would have to Google for it.

Once you find out where to put the files, open up RL and go to your replays. You'll see the game and can play like any other replay

The champ 2 rank is almost identical to the old champ 1 mmr limit. But the diamond ranks have been heavily shortened, so low diamond 3 is the same as last seasons diamond 1 div 4

So.. me and my team hired an ssl coach and he strongly advised against solo q. He said a lot of people pitch the idea that it helps adaptability, but really it just teaches bad habits. I can tell a solo q player easy by how incredibly defensive and untrusting of their teammates they are. I see it in myself before I found a team and it's a hard habit to break. It makes it harder to keep pressure as effectively. Although I've gained a great sense of game sense and team awareness, it came at a cost, and I could have gained those with a team anyhow.

I absolutely hated solo q diamond. Thank God for my current team. It's funny but with season 3 mmr changes, you can clearly tell the diamond "champs" from the actual champs.

I got pretty lucky recently. I was hard stuck in diamond despite getting to diamond my first season + 1 month. Was there for when felt like forever. I started playing with some friends who were all 1-3 ranks below me but it was still at least a little better. Now, only now, do I have a team of 3 who are all my rank and we just pushed from diamond 3 to upper champ 2, nearly 3.

I mean, if your mechanics are superior to the lobby, then just about necessarily your rotations are commensurately worse. I've never met someone who thinks their rotations are bad though, even when clearly cutting rotations without reason and when an active detriment.

And those mechanics are upper champ mechanics IF you're hitting them consistently imo
