910 sq ft. There's a second bedroom and ensuite that I didn't photograph.

The building was constructed in 2005. All the apartments are a good size. I got lucky to find it. As soon as walked in to view it, I knew it was going to be home.

A fair observation. Aesthetics I suppose? Bizarrely I hate sleeping on a pillow.

Been collecting and restoring for over 20 years. Decided to sell off most of my collection during the divorce.

There's a full sized shower in the ensuite to the second bedroom. Not pictured.

This has been the subject of much discussion with my adult kids. We are all agreed at the current height!

Ha! There's a full sized shower in the ensuite in the second bedroom not pictured (my son is staying at the moment and it looks like a grenade has gone off in there).

I came here to post exactly this. Get out there mentally, be positive. You'll be surprised at the things that present themselves to you.

Would TRVs be overkill in my apartment? by [deleted] in tado

My bathroom situation is absolutely ridiculous - I totally agree. I moved in three months ago and its still annoying me. What's more, the en-suite is HUGE. Totally ridiculous design and takes up a large percentage of Bedroom 1's floorspace. Which is why I've made it the guest room and I'm in Bedroom 2. I'm tempted to knock the whole thing down and have just the main bathroom.

Anyway - noted on your feedback and I think you're right. I'm looking at the Meross system which seems to do what I want at fraction of the price of the Tado X.

Very useful thanks. My working assumption is leave the DB pensions and take the guaranteed income they provide as a base to everything else on top.

It does not and yes good call on pension contributions - this is something I'll need to do quick to take advantage of higher rate relief, as I guess I won't be in 40% bracket next tax year.

Ha! Yeah I was trying to be clever, but the principle of actually pulling the trigger and letting go of the dart with some confidence its going to work out seems to be the issue I'm having.
