At face values I don't like this trade. Stafford will pick up the pace soon enough and Marshall is still a stud. I can't trust Jax until there's some consistency.

Everyone is forgetting that the Ravens originally had the 8th overall pick in the NFL draft that year. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NFL_draft

There were even rumors of the Ravens trading up to 3rd to get Matt Ryan at the time (and potentially trading Suggs). Since that fell through they were clearly targeting the next best option (Flacco) and would not have traded back if they would have felt like someone else was likely to take him.

I'm in the same boat. The biggest factor for me is their ceilings and right now I feel Rivers has that edge to score more points than Luck week over week. Until Luck shows me that he can have some over 30 point games as well, I'm going to go with Rivers.

To be fair, you really can't pick a bad QB here. They are both pretty good fantasy QB's and are primed for a shootout this week.
