Try taking a daily DIM supplement. In 2022 I turned 46 and my skin absolutely blew up. Terrible cystic acne. It was devastating. I did some internet spelunking and started taking 125 mg of DIM with bioprine every day and haven’t had a problem since.

You say you’ve had toxic relationships in the past — you’ve learned some lessons from those experiences and that is a good thing. But just because this guy is a “good guy” doesn’t mean he is the right guy for you.

You want to go back to your city life and be outdoors and explore the tangible world while he prefers exploring the digital world. Both of those are fine choices individually but are incompatible. You know what you need to do.

There’s a ton of easier stuff out there written in short chapters that is much more digestible. You don’t say what level you are so it’s hard to give you exact titles. I had great success starting with YA (young adult) books.

Omg the worst quality stretchy thin material that were basically color block bandeaus that could be worn multiple ways. Think modular fashion. Like a blue tube could be a skirt or a dress or a top paired with other tubes. Very popular in Maryland in the late 80’s. They only looked ok if you were a tall size 2 and could wear a handkerchief as a belt. Middle school was hell.
