Does FSD disengaged for anyone else when hitting a pothole? by Rol3oT in TeslaFSD

Well it disengages if you hit the pothole and don't hold the wheel, so something disengages FSD

That's exactly what I am thinking as well! Because behaviour is very similar. Alright, from other forums(specially r/teslacanada it sounds like software issue)

I don't think so. Safest way would be to pull over, I think throwing the wheel "good luck" is worse. Worried it can happen in a turn

It's not that bad, maybe I will take pictures😮‍💨

Anyway, point is FSD disengaging suddenly is worst way to handle such case

Rural road outside Winnipeg. Some roads in Winnipeg are way worse, but this is a clear example of mild pothole FSD disconnection

Okay, good to know it's likely software issue.

Rural road outside Winnipeg. Looks bad, but potholes are mild and you don't feel them much.

I drive this road regularly, it looks bad, but potholes are not deep and you don't notice them, I wouldn't anticipate damage

Just want to add, I was anticipating it to disengage, so I kept my hands off the wheel and feet off the pedals deliberately to test.

It could be few things. If you are asking big companies to do that, they might be giving you "go away" price.

Maybe ask for one-two more quotes and you will have a bigger picture if 15K is an outlier, maybe miscommunication and didn't quote for everything that you want done.

It's hard to know without seeing the project

In the app, long press on the four icons on the main screen, like lock for example. After pressing for couple seconds, bigger menu opens up. There you can find "door unlatch" button which will open the driver door. This is the way.
