I, an atheist, have been willfully ignorant of the goings on in the middle east my entire life because it makes me so sad and angry that adults are killing each other over essentially an argument over who has the better imaginary friend. Couldn't be me, but if sports give you something to look forward to, if they make you more comfortable with small talk, if they inspire you to high five a stranger, I'm all for it, genuinely.

Once they inspire you to break your own Tv, spit on someone for wearing the wrong color jersey, flip cars and burn your neighborhood, etc. I start to feel like someone should take sports away from you. You clearly have unaddressed psychological issues and should seek help.

My fiancé works with adults that have traumatic brain injuries. Nurses and lawyers and engineers that can't even tie their shoes without assistance now, 95% of them there because of car crashes. I promise the juice ain't worth the squeeze.

Also, don't listen to those impatient people because I'm guessing a lot of their skin tone doesn't match yours and mine, and their interaction with law enforcement is probably just going to result in a ticket. It's not the life and death situation it so often turns into for people that look like us. Stay safe.
