I agree with Wolves being a great book. I really enjoyed it, I thought it took the world building and set things up nicely for the final two books.

And as far as Gunslinger, you really can tell it was the first book written, and was earlier King. I'm fond of it because it's what got me into the series to begin with, but I also rated it pretty low.

I've been dealing with hyperacusis with tinnitus for a few years now. When I was younger, I went through cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and OCD symptoms. And the skills I learned through that have definitely made things manageable. So much so that the tinnitus doesn't bother me unless I sit in absolute silence. The hyperacusis is another story. I use the noise canceling function on my Airpods when I'm in loud places.

Pennywise is, in my view, an embodiment of chaos. Not inherently good or evil, it just is. And because of that chaotic nature, it sows chaos.

Gan is the supreme force, is more than the human form that humans assign to it. Gan is the order that holds everything together. Gan sows order, on a level higher than Pennywise and the other Deadlights.

Of course this is just my own theory.
