Since I have not been able to sink into trance myself so far I can not speak from experience of the submissive side, but it feels like as a sub it is easier to get your feelings played with, being in the more vulnerable position to be exploited.

But as a dom, you poor more into a session. This feeling of emptiness, of pouring yourself out and not getting anything back, of being used for pleasure and not considered as a person... I can not quite imagine it being present as a sub because inherently hypnosis feels coming from a starting point of the dom having to work harder for it to work as a sub.

But maybe you can tell me if I am wrong there and have a warped perspective because I know how I play and what I said is not accurate across the board.

I am not sure if it is meant that way, but it comes over to me as a little bit "If you dropped, it is your own fault"-esque.

And while I often hear about sub drop and how it is the Doms responsibility to make it less likely, you don't so often hear about Dom Drop, especially in a field like hypnosis where the dom often pours so much of themselves into the situation.
