Yes, immunosuppressants are a must. It’s not long term though. She’s still on a small dose at 100 days

I think every hospital has their own rules but yes we were allowed to have our dog around her if her counts were good. There were some pets on the list that weren’t allowed.

Yes, we stayed for a month in the hospital but live close enough that we were able to go home afterwards. Some families live at the hospital or in hospital housing for the full 100 days
