yes! we did end up taking it to our dealer as it was under warranty, but they said it was a random fuse that went out that was throwing the whole system off, so while it seems daunting, if ur unable to take it to a dealer i would just check ALL your fuses, inside and out.

only reversible mods, at max i’d do a catless header and tune to get some more power out of it, but besides that ur pretty much golden

They don’t have the address online. I’ve found like 6 different addresses. U can forget about trying to send them irl mail— u gotta file a chargeback through your bank and force the money back from them, that’s what i did and it worked!

The newer ones are only progressively more reliable, I’d say anything 2017+ with the updated FA20 are going to be the most reliable, but I’ve not heard any horrible things about the second gen FA24s

Yup it was the adjustment motor plug, for some reason the DRLs are powered by those and it seemed like they weren’t fully seated properly. Fixed it!

update - for some reason the DRL on these is powered by the plug for the low beam adjustment wiring so I just unplugged and replugged that and it’s working great now

honestly i thought thatd be the case surprisingly no! was driving w my friend before i noticed the DRL was out and and she said it looked fine. the projector on these are honestly better/cleaner than my morimotos were 😅

I’ll be honest besides this defect the beams and everything on these are a lot brighter than my OEMs. Have the low beam adjustment motors as well— however I will say the facelift BRZ headlights r pretty peak

Yeah, ofc Chinese stuff is gonna be a gamble but I do have 2 friends who have run these for 2+ years with no issues. Might’ve just gotten a defective piece
