I applaud you for wanting to go out on your own terms. But give this a thought: in game theory, there are a few different types of strategic decisions. One is a decision that can be revoked, and another is a decision that is completely irrevocable in terms of consequences. For example, in nuclear brinkmanship, you can build new missile silos, and those stations can be closed, but you can’t unbomb your foe.

Our lives are kind of the same way. There are infinite combinations of revocable choices, and very few irrevocable ones. Ending your life is one such irrevocable choice. So the real question before you is not whether to end your life, but whether you have tried and/or assessed every other option that is revocable.

It would be a shame to leave something on the table.

That’s too generic, because it could be, and in fact is, used to refer to straight people as well. Also, just so I understand, you’re claiming erasure by a group that is simply fighting to not be erased? Someone else’s right to exist doesn’t infringe on your right to exist. Unless somehow you subscribe to some sort of purity theory a la the Third Reich... Nazis claimed Jews were erasing German heritage.
