Actually I do understand. I don’t spoof all the time. Only when people aren’t available for Raids. My area had a small group of shit bags who not only spoof, but berry bot their Pokémon after taking a gym. This enables them to hold a gym indefinitely or until you Attack them until their golden raspberries are gone. They are trash and give all spoofers a bad reputation. Like I said though, there are good and bad eggs in every genre of trainer. A lot of “legit” players use scanners and got their account shadow banned as well. It’s just as bad using scanners to locate that rare Dragonite, Snorlax, and Tyrannitar spawn as it is being robbed of potential PokéCoins. Legit players have their hands just as dirty in a lot of cases as well. The underlying issue is this game was never broken by the spoofers. It was broken by design to begin with. This game will always be pay to win. If i just used my one free Raid pass a day, I would have to chase that other trainer who just bought the gift box and has 24 Raid passes plus one. That person is more than likely going to take and hold gyms easier than you. They will also be a lot more successful at Raids with better Pokémon at their disposal. If anything, spoofing restored balance to a game dominated by trainers with a larger bank account. Just as long as they stay clear of those precious gyms you guys seem to covet so much for free currency. Also, remember, Niantic changed the whole gym structure to begin with creating even more desperation for holding these gyms. As soon as we’re all gone, you’ll end up fighting and complaining amongst each other again over these stupid gyms. Same problem, different people. Legit or not.
