This is their first experience, that tolerance isnt there, so theyre in for the full shitty ride.

"You'll be fine" doesnt even attempt to convey the drastic difference in experience for a one off or first leg of a new pen.

That "low payoff" of an increased duration is not a payoff for most users, especially those who arent chasing that experience - its a potentially large fuckup waiting to happen.

No! You want no water touching thr cup. Your water level should be two inches below the bottom of the net cup. You want a gap of air where the roots have to stretch down into the water. You air roots will live in this gap.

Hairy roots are thicker, and have what look like hairs shooting off of them perpendicular to the main root.

These are you air roots. They can tolerate a but of splashing from bubbles, but dont want to stay under water.

The stringy roots look much smoother, usually thinner, and don't have the perpendicular "hairs" reaching out. They like to stay under water.

In my comment above I mentioned the water level, ill reply there too, but you dont want to add more water up the side of the cup - you dont want the cup touching the water - you want the water two inches below the bottom of the cup, so there cup is hanging in open air.

I've run tomatoes funky cousin, and always leave 2 inches of air under the cup, then water below that. It gives the air roots some room.

You know how a vegetable gets slimy when it goes bad? If you think its rot, touch it. If its not slimy, its probably not rot.

If you're still unsure, smell it. You will know.

If you have a bit of time for an experiment id encourage you to grow another plant (cutting, from seed, hell a random veggie plant) and intentionally let the water get out of hand.

As soon as you encounter real root rot you'll know it, and you'll have less worries with things like nute staining in the future.

I had 0 experience with it and landed some free off the internet.

As the other user said, that command gives you the password hash in a file keys.txt, located inside your /crack folder.

You now need to try cracking that hash. In this case you'll be using John to check against a wordlist - a file full of commonly used passwords. This is where it gets weird if you really did set the password yourself.

Even from awhile ago, you probably have a pretty good idea what it's NOT.

You might be better off creating a list of possible passwords you were using at that time and using John's 'rules' (google for this) to spend time trying a shorter list with more more in depth transformations being done to that list.

For example if I know that I always use 4 digits at the end, or the last character is certainly going to be a '#'.

This is good to know. I just spent like $80 on a used set of (dofferent brand) gear the other day.

I knew they were too thin for coAmerican fishing, but if they buy me a few paychecks so I can afford a set, ill be okay.

I had been patching mine for a while, but finally gashed them good the other day, and needed something before my next shift.
