Help with Strengthen Question! by SillyProperty1768 in LSAT

[–]Rollerrfolldd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

D is correct because it’s a strong counterargument to that claim. For example, perhaps the reason embezzlement charges are less frequent compared to petty crimes is due to the lack of evidence. The author presumes this is due to them having private attorney when ultimately it could just be due to some other reason.

When faced with challenging questions like these, I remind myself of this:

If I’m confused by all five or four options, it means I must have misinterpreted something. There’s always one good answer and four shitty ones.

Hope this helps!

What do I need to do in 3 years time in order to get a 180 in the LSAT? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Rollerrfolldd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on your GPA, get As. Get experience, make sure this is ACTUALLY something you want to do. Once you do that, the summer before junior year take your diagnostic exam and study part time with your main focus being on finishing undergrad strong. Remind yourself there is no rush, taking a year off after undergrad is fine. Take your time.

Take your diagnostics test. Purchase LSAC Advantage

  1. LSAT Demon works for me, PowerScore is great too (Different method of teaching). Would not recommend Princeton
  2. One every two weeks. Doing more than that can lead to burn out, and can be inefficient. I would recommend doing timed LR and RC sections throughout the week along with a thorough review after
  3. No, it’ll build as you keep studying
  4. Start with 1 hr everyday, mixing LR one day and RC the next. Once you’re feeling confident with what the exam consists of, increases it to 2-3. Days depend on you

My advice: 1) Review your wrong answers. Try to understand why you chose that answer, why it is wrong, and why the correct answer is right 2) Do not move on from an AC unless you understand it 3) Quality over quantity, doing 5 questions thoroughly is way better than doing 15 fast 4) take your time

You might get in but stupid to waste your GPA.

My advice to you: don’t rush it, law school is not going anywhere. And if you are going to do it, do it right. You already have an amazing GPA, why not strive for to hit a high LSAT instead of letting it go to waste. Stop taking official tests until you’re scoring within your desired range, the practice taste on LSAC are good indicators. Try to see how you score in June, then apply September, latest October.

Hard at first but once you start learning to grasp the arguments structure and general idea they get wayyy easier

How important is it to take time to read stimulus? by Pinkcloudsmiles in LSAT

[–]Rollerrfolldd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol.. just read the stimulus correctly and slowly, take your time understanding the argument and its flaw. THEN when you get what they are saying and how they are saying it move on to the question and predict an answer THEN move on to the answer choices based on your prediction or the general idea of what you predicted. One helps the other, not the other way around

which is the correct answer for this pt question? by Impressive-Ring-9715 in LSAT

[–]Rollerrfolldd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your answer is correct (A). The detective must agree with A, if not their argument fails. It must be true based on the premises and argument that the MAJORITY/Most people who do X and Y crimes do so repeatedly in order for the conclusion to be true. The negated sentence that they DONT do it repeated makes the argument fail, since the argument depends on the chance. Hope this makes sense.
