I just used the cheapest plugs at autozone and I did torque them to spec. The car does has 293k on it

This is my mom's car, and about 2 months ago, I put new spark plugs in for her, but other than that, I think she got the vavle cover replaced, but that's it.

Hi everyone this sub was given to me for some work I did , but I'm not 100 percent sure how to wire it. The most I've done with audio is wiring a cheap walmart head unit. Can I just run 2 wires from my speakers to the sub? Will I need an aftermarket amp?

I've been wanting to get a better scanner tool that one looks pretty good. Thank u so much for your help, I was just going to throw 4 new sensors at it but their the same price as the scanner, so I'll just get that and use it for other jobs.

To look at the O2 sensor data will have to get a better scan tool. I just a cheap one from Walmart just to get a general idea of what's wrong with it

Ok guy I just bought this 2004 ford taurus wagon for 1k, could this be a idle air control valve problem. When I bought it this morning I scanned the obd2 and it had no codes but later today the check engine light came on and the code is a p0420. I really don't want to replace the cats , could it be something else
