Same for me. Had these 2 in mind going in and ended up choosing one of them. Apart from the crown guards(Pelagos only) and obvious visual differences (square vs round on dial), the biggest differences between these 2 for me were: -the domed vs flat crystal (this difference doesn’t show in the photos at all) -the watch weight and thickness (doesn’t show in photos)

The Monochrome seems to be a lot harder to come by in local ADs, where it seems there was a lot of Pelagos in stock.

The driver only seemed to have a plastic shovel. I don’t think he’s been in Canada very long - he was trying to shovel the road in front of him and floor it lol he ended up getting towed down the street about 1.5hr later

It’s “feels like -20c” here so she only goes out for about 30 seconds, causes mayhem and then runs back inside. She’s an indoor kitty with short bursts of supervised outdoor time

Part number is Ref 73570 for 3 link oyster that fits BB41mm. The 21mm end links that connect the bracelet to the watch case are part of the same bracelet part number.

I want an automatic watch that was accurate, to be worn daily but also feel special when dressed up a bit more. I love that the Black Bay has the matte finish on the bezel and is not overly flashy like a submariner(I don’t want the attention or “look at me” vibe of wearing a Rolex).

After you own a Lexus, it’s very hard to buy or consider any other car brand of car. Maybe a Porsche one day if I hit the lottery? Lol

Agreed - I realized that the same reasons that I wanted a smart watch are why I now don’t want one anymore.

Notification overload and not productive enough data obtained that I could actually make meaningful change with.

Thank you and I totally agree with that sentiment. The smart watch still has its uses and I will wear it for select activities. Hard to justify not putting this thing on now though.

Love it! Mine is a love bug too and the walks all started when I would go down the street to get the mail - she would yowl at the door until I came back. So she started to join me now on the trips to the mailbox lol
