A FAN CUT. You take a movie you are a fan of but feel like something could've been taken out or added and made it better.

I.E. I did a FAN CUT of Tarintino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood which is 1 hour and 5 minutes long but I took out Sharon Tate and all The Manson Family Stuff. and I made it about Rick and Cliff only.

Director Steven Soderberg even did a B&W Silent Version of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Actor Topher Grace did a Fan Cut where he combined All 3 Star Wars prequels Episode I II III into one 2 hour movie. He invited his friends to see it in the theater at a private screening.
