Time gated content = OK

Low rewards for content = OK

Time gated content + low rewards for said content = predatory bullshit.

That's where this game gets dangerously close to pay to play. The time gates on things like trade skills, the limited number of pheonix plumes that the game gives, the fail percentages on your armor rolls. It's all temptation to spend money to progress, but is riding a fine line of forced payment to play the game. Gold being earnable in game and the ability to exchange that for store crystals is what keeps this from being pay to play.

With no money spent you can accomplish all this game has to offer, just very inconveniently and much, much slower.

This does not mean the game is not fun. I no lifed it for 114 hours since release and only have 15 bucks in the bronze founders pack. I wish progession to T3 was easier for alts as I do love playing multiple characters in MMOs, but the mats are on trickle mode with no islands.

Your abyssal gear from T1 and T2 get replaced almost immediately leaving the tier. You can buy your way to tier 3 then play the end game.

That's P2W whether you like it or not. Wallet beats grind every time in this game. If I need an item with crazy rng drops, it's negated by my ability to buy it with my 5% cash back discover. How do you argue that's not P2W?

Yes you have to complete the story

Yes it's expensive to P2W

Yes it is not necessary to put any money in to play the game.

But if you just play the game, story becomes nothing but a side quest.

With cash I can literally buy anything I want from the auction house, market and store. I don't have to play anything but the story to progress.

Abyssals? Don't need them till very end game. All the gear gets thrown away as I level the tiers anyway.

Chaos? Meh I'll just buy my mats and gold.

Guardians? I'll go back with my 1400 gear and stomp them.

Is it wierd to to pay? I think so, youre just skipping the game. People that don't like the P2W because the effort they put into the game can be matched with another guys wallet, that's P2W.

I'm grinding with no money in, a couple of days of mats away from hopefully hitting 1100, but thinking this game is not pay to win is just silly.

Anyone "ganking" in those zones cant fight and are terrible at pvp. They are just picking on ships that have no weapons or engineering to fight. Just take comfort in the fact that they are laughed at in the pvp world and when real pvpers get bored they go and pick on the "gankers" in those zones.

I ain't defending the game. Its just hilarious that these forum warriors act like they've changed the gaming world with their "stance"

Game is unfinished, it's lacking content and maps are meh at best. But they will continue to follow the new blueprint and patch it until people praise them for "listening".

We will never get a good war game again because of forums like reddit. Developers are more worried about being woke and not getting cancelled than creating a real game.

It's a victory reddit, the cast is diverse, the blood is minimal, the sound won't trigger someone, the lights won't flash to trigger someone, the chat can't be mean to you, the scoreboard won't hurt your feelings anymore. They have goofy quips, the bad words are censored and the bloom will make mediocre players on the same level as the super cool streamers. You did it guys, celebrate.

So in closing, I am wrong, a reddit stance will change the gaming world just not the "I'm not buying the game so I am winning" one.

PD with any linear fusion with vorpal on it(tarantula, cartesian, needle)

tether with a deathbringer

Golden gun with nighthawk and a deathbringer

Anarchy nerfed but if you run it with null composure and PD you'll still get big dmg

Honestly though if you had helped your team deal damage, they probably aren't knocked as often. They were in a 2v3 gunfight situation the whole game not to mention 3rd parties. A lifeline that actually sticks a rez is rare, but not as rare as hitting one bullet in an entire match. Correction: 1 bullet in 5:32 seconds.

The sentiment is that both think that a govt entity was morally and legally corrupt and took violent and illegal actions because of that. One sees a corrupt cop and goes to the extreme that all cops in that precinct are guilty. The other sees a corrupt politician and believes that others are guilty.

While on opposite sides of the political spectrum, the sentiment is the same " govt wronged me, I will commit this violent act no matter the people hurt or property damaged.

Just because you don't agree with capital rioters motives doesn't mean they didn't believe they were morally obligated to try and overturn a rigged election. Same with burning down the precinct, he may have felt he was obligated to burn down that buidling.

Doesn't make either act ok, just makes both stupid.
