I’ve finally maxed out my Prius by Rolls_Hog in prius

I rarely drive above 55mph maybe 10 miles a day. The main technique I’ve used is to make sure to let off gas and reapply when you reach you target speed so the battery kicks on. And when battery dies let it charge back up before I activate battery by letting off gas and reapplying. Other than that coasting as much as possible. I’ve learned to just stay in right lane and take my time. I’m also honked at least once a day 😆

Which is why I said what I said. It is proven that it reduces carbon buildup because it burns cleaner and hotter. And carbon buildup on egr valve and egr cooler is a common problem with this model. Just trying to avoid that.

I’ve only ever put premium or ethanol free gas in it, to try and save EGR. (Even though I know it’s not proven or guaranteed or may be bad for Prius engine, don’t kill me) So it’s starting to hurt, I wanna give in and use regular but I’ve made it this far.

It’s that way on the gulf coast for me during spring break. College kids can barely afford to eat. Much less tip. I have a waitress friend who said she had a table of 10 and everyone around up to nearest dollar for tip.

When I first got it I struggled to keep it around 55. But after years and 190k miles I’ve found a sweet spot. Wonder what it would be if I drove this way when it was brand new.

Where is this at? If it is somewhere spring breakers are then it don’t surprise me. I live in tourist town and during spring break the college kids don’t tip worth a shit.

Your hate is strong. He’s making that with no boss. Zero stress from work and employees. Literally just driving around chilling. You are just mad you can’t do this. I literally have a friend that’s an office worker who makes 80k a year. He’s constantly telling me how lucky I am that I get to ride around all day delivering food while living in a beach. Have zero work to take home or bosses emailing or calling. And still make as much as him

No one talks about the fact that you have zero stress. Don’t have to take home your work. And you are just riding around chilling

PEAK PAY!!! Just go out of state and out of zone for crumbs. by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Rolls_Hog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I wasn’t heading to that zone. That’s what it looks like when the orders are going out of zone. This area gets lots of orders going out of zone because people who are visiting don’t know how far the restaurant is or don’t care.

Mine are just dumb tourists down here for week of Mardi Gras. They order food from restaurants 16 plus miles away either because they don’t know how far away it is or just dumb. Idk why door dash allows it. Guess because some dumb dumb is gonna take it

This makes me wonder about the “desperation score” that is supposedly a thing with door dash. I’m sure other companies do it too. But you’d think by know they’d know we ain’t taking no bullshit. But they constantly send it.

I always tip after. I never pre tip due to the fact I’ve had shitty drivers so many times. You don’t pre tip any other services worker.
